Guys we are just 8 days away from the hyper anticipated SDCC presentation of this year and there's a ton of reason to be excited about it but sadly Marvel Studios ruled out the possibility of putting up a show at SDCC this year but nonetheless 20th Century Fox with their upcoming Marvel movies and WB with their upcoming DC movies will have plenty to present and it's sure to keep the hype train running for a pretty long time, so without further delay let's discuss about the list of things that we will totally happen this year at Hall H, starting with.......

The first R rated comic book movie set within a shared universe franchise, that in itself makes this one of the most unique movie in this genre and needless to say this movie is hotly anticipated so let's see what we can expect from this movie's presentation.

  • An exclusive trailer
  • Couple of Posters (maybe)
  • An open Q & A session with Director Tim Miller and stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) , T.J. Miller (Weasel) , Andre Tricoteux (Colossus), Morena Baccarin (Copy Cat), Gina Carano (Angel Dust), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) and Ed Skrien (Ajax).

X-Men Apocalypse

This movie is the sequel to 2013's X-men Days of Future Past which was an extremely successful movie, both commercially and critically and this follow up has a bigger ensemble and needless to say it will turn out to be another surprising movie.

I gotta say that this movie's presentation will be a blast simply because everything about this movie is shrouded in secrecy and when they finally reveal it, it's gonna be a pleasant surprise, and these are the things that I am expecting from this presentation.

  • First Look posters (of the entire ensemble together and individual ones as well.)
  • An exclusive trailer
  • Open Q & A session with director Bryan Singer and stars Tye SHeridan (Cyclops), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quick Silver), James McVoy ( Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Kodi Smith Mcphee (Night Crawler), Lucas Till (Havok), Lana Condor (Jubilee) and Oscar Isaacs (Apocalypse).

Fantastic Four

This movie is a fresh reboot of the previously failed Fantastic Four movies and the plan is to connect this movie and it's planned sequel with the other X-men movies down the line to form a shared universe, so watch out for this movie because the trailers and the new grounded and edgy take on the movie sounds promising and good. And these are the things that I expect from this presentation.

  • An exclusive footage
  • Open Q & A session with director Josh Trank and stars Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara (Invisible Woman), Michael B Jordan (Human Torch), Jamie Bell (Thing), Reg E. Cathey (Dr. Franklin Storm) and Toby Kebell (Dr. Doom)

Now moving on to the big guns..................

Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice

The MOST anticipated movie of 2016, Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is a must watch in everyone's list and this movie also happens to be the gate opener to the wider DC Extended Universe (cinematic universe) and is said to be a game changer, now here's the list of things that I expect from this presentation.

  • A new trailer or a particular footage from the film (Exclusive of course)
  • Open Q & A session with director Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Holly Hunter (undisclosed role) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman)
  • Couple of new posters.

Well WB's official presentation related to DC ends there but WB did confirm that there will be some unexpected offerings that will delight the audiences for sure, what kinda offerings ?

For sure it isn't non DC because they have already got Pan and The Man from the U.N.C.L.E. for Hall H presentations and there's no SDCC worthy movie from WB to present at there, so I am convinced that the unexpected offerings are also other DC movies that are in active development, so here me out.

Suicide Squad

The third movie in DC Extended Universe which also happens to be the follow up of Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. Labelled as the riskiest bet of WB for the obscure nature of the characters, this movie quickly raised the anticipation quotient once the cast reveal, plot details and set photos came to light. Needless to say this is one of a kind movie given the truly unique nature of the film.

Now I am expecting director David Ayer showing up on stage to give a production update and what he feels about the movie and how it is coming along and then him showing a teaser footage with some cast members on stage mostly Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto maybe Viola Davis and others as well.

Now this presentation can be compared to the 2014 SDCC presentation of Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice, you are getting what I am trying to say right, just a quick little presentation.

Wonder Woman

This movie is a solo outing of Wonder Woman set within the DC Extended Universe and follows up Suicide Squad and comes just before Justice League Part 1 and what's more interesting is that, this will be the first major block buster movie with a female comic book character in the lead role and also happens to be the first tent pole movie to be directed by a female director.

Well coming to the SDCC presentation of this movie, well I am not expecting much because this movie didn't even start it's shooting (which will start late this year) but I do expect director Patty jenkins to be there on stage along with Gal Gadot explaining her take on this movie and how the pre production is coming along and then revealing the title and logo of the movie along with other actors playing supporting roles (revealing them for the very first time).

Justice League Part 1

Well the culmination of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman will hit the theater on November 2017 but more importantly this will be THE MOMENT at Hall H SDCC this year as it means, we will get our first look at the ensemble of Justice League cast together on stage (Green Lantern reveal at last) along with director Zack Snyder and then he revealing the title and logo of the movie and then revealing the actor behind the villain's role along with a 2 or 3 epic concept arts.

DC Extended Universe

Well WB released their DC movie slate consisting 10 movies that goes from 2016 to 2020 but it's pretty safe to say that it isn't the concrete plan because we have heard that the release dates of movies between 2018-2020 might be shuffled and some new movies will also be included within that list.

So I am expecting someone from WB to reveal the definitive release schedule of these movies and then announce some new movies like The Dark Universe and The Batman along with the directors attached to those movies.

Wrapping it up

So that's about it guys the SDCC sounds epic this year and I am eagerly looking towards the reveals but sadly I won't be in a position to watch all these exclusive videos and I hope some of these videos are released officially online as well.

Somehow WB's Hall H presentation intrigues me the most because they have got a lot of movies to present in that 1.5 hours panel and they have got a lot of actors moving back and forth between the various presentations and this leads me to believe that they will have some sort of unique presentation format, instead of the regular "one after the other format"

But guys let me know about which presentation intrigues you the most and what you are expecting out of this SDCC in the comments below.

Which presentation are you looking towards the most ?
