I once heard someone say 'Cartoons are for kids' - that person was a jerk! There is one thing I have learned in life, nobody grows up - we all just get really good at faking it!

I have always liked cartoons. So much so I studied animation for a year...I didn't drop out after a year, that was just how long the course was...and that is probably why i don't work in animation!

No matter what age I was I wanted to see the animated movies, the latest oddball cartoons. What I like about cartoons, apart from the pretty colours, is that they have a clever ability to play to every audience. A child and an adult can watch the same cartoon and be entertained in very different ways. The obvious example would be The Simpsons...

...but go back further. Rugrats, Charlie Brown these guys had something that when you went back years later - there were jokes that never should of been allowed air, jokes that you did not understand and sometimes jokes that make it even better than you remember!

Of course you have cartoons that are meant for just a single audience like South Park and Family Guy - these are also awesome, not only because animation can achieve things quickly and cheaply that live action cannot, but also because they just don't give a shit.

Here I honor some of these cartoons. Ones that I enjoyed many years ago and ones that I enjoy today.
