Are you sitting down? Good. Because what I'm about to say might make you fall over in shock.

Home Alone celebrates its 25th Anniversary. That's right, people! It's already been a whopping 25 years since this highly popular and iconic film was released in 1990. Did anyone else's brain explode? Will someone please explain where the time went?

To honor the fact that it's been over two decades since we first saw adorable Macaulay Culkin as the mischievously intelligent prankster kid Kevin we all wished we could be, an anniversary collector's edition is available October 6th in the most awesome packaging ever: a paint can.

For those of you who can't wait, you have the option of pre-ordering it at this year's Comic-Con at the Fox Booth #4229!

Included in this set are all five films from the series (Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Home Alone 3, Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House, Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist), the plan for the Wet Bandits as well as their "Wanted" poster, a tarantula, and a Christmas tree ornament.

If you have ever wanted the exact replica of the hat Kevin wears in the films, Target will be selling a gift set that includes this festive piece to really help get you in the holiday mood.

So fashion forward!

In case you need a refresher course on how to set up booby traps for half-witted burglars, Kevin McCallister shows us how it's properly done in this clip from the first film:

The holidays may seem like it's a bit of a ways away, but as we just discovered, time has the tendency to flash before our eyes. Before we know it, it will be time to wear coats and scarves, shop for some holiday gifts, search for the perfect Douglas fir tree, and getting your Christmas playlist on point.

And wouldn't watching the Home Alone films be the perfect series to relax to with some eggnog and a gingerbread cookie while the fireplace toasts your frozen toes?
