James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe star in Twentieth Century Fox's Frankenstein as Victor Frankenstein and Igor. And Entertainment Weekly has just released the first ever photo, giving us a glimpse of the world they've created.
The film Victor Frankenstein is told from Igor's point of view, meaning we will also get more information regarding the young assistant's background as well as his relationship with Victor von Frankenstein.
According to McAvoy,
"“Victor’s ego means that at times he thinks he’s superior to Igor. Their relationship is close, loving, abusive, manipulative, and it turns on a dime.”
I think Radcliffe and McAvoy are just the men to portray such dynamic and emotionally charged characters.
Based on Mary Shelley's novel released in 1818, Victor Frankenstein is directed by Paul McGuigan and also stars Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Andrew Scott.
Although theater release isn't until Thanksgiving of this year, do not fret my friends. The studio is taking Victor Frankenstein to San Diego Comic-Con for those of you who are attending!
