It's a tough time to be a fan of Zelda. Not only was The Legend of Zelda release date pushed to 2016, but Nintendo didn't have it anywhere near E3 2015. I guess this is the main reason why Nintendo was voted to have the worst presence out of all of the big players at the conference. In any case, we'll be waiting for the next Nintendo announcement for news on Zelda and the NX along with it.
In fact, it's quite likely that The Legend of Zelda will make the move from the Wii U to whatever new console Nintendo are developing - what a great launch title that would be! In any case, Zelda Wii U looks fantastic, but it's going to have to work extremely hard in order to top what I think the best Zelda game is to date. Be sure to let us know what your favourite Zelda game is too!
The Legend of Zelda: Can Zelda Wii U Top THIS On its Release Date?
I've played a lot of Zelda games on a ridiculous amount of consoles - seriously Nintendo need to stop releasing so many damn consoles! But out of every Legend of Zelda adventure I've experienced none have been more powerful than The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I'd never played a game like it and it was almost shocking to see such a wildly different approach to a Zelda game. The chore mechanics were there, but everything else felt fresh and intriguing.
In my opinion, Majora's Mask has one of the best atmospheric presences in the history of Video Games. The ticking clock is a constant reminder of the inevitability of death. A bit dark for what could be considered a children's game, but it was so powerful. I adored how well I grew to know each and every area. If I had to restart the day again, I felt no remorse in having to do so. I knew it like the back of my hand and I was going to own that place once I returned.
What Do You Want Zelda Wii U to Beat?
But that's just me. Of course, I adore Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. But Majora's Mask is where it's at for me. What about you Zelda fans? Be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
The Legend of Zelda Wii U won't be released until 2016, or will it be on the NX?
