Poster Posse member, U.K. based digital illustrator Luke Butland, has been doing an ongoing art series called "Weapons of Choice." The series takes a look at the weapons used by movie and comic book characters. Butland loves the weapon from the Marvel Comic Universe, Star Wars, Spaghetti western and gritty action dramas.

On his website Butland acknowledge his inspiration:

Weapon of choice is simple, you pick a character / person who has used a weapon in some way or another. For example it could be James Bond and his gun or even a football player who’s weapon would be the ball.”

Butland breaks the series up into classic movies, Marvel and Star Wars tributes.

You can see more of Luke Butland's work at his website.

Weapon data comes from Internet Movie Firearms Database and assorted Wikipedia resources.
