Theodus Crane is an actor from Atlanta, Georgia. He played the role of Big Tiny in season three of The Walking Dead, but has only found work out of state since then. He recently wrapped for a role in the upcoming series Underground (airing in 2016 on WGN), which is set in Georgia, but filmed in Louisiana. He also recently did some stunt work for CBS's Zoo.
Crane may be coming back to Atlanta soon, though. There is speculation that Marvel is going to be making Pinewood Atlanta Studios it's base of operations for at least the next decade. Ant-Man, premiering nation-wide July 17, was filmed there, and Captain America: Civil War is currently in production.
Fortunately for Marvel, Theodus Crane has been training specifically to land a role as a superhero. Theodus is looking forward to Black Panther, another feature film planned by Marvel. The lead part for that film currently belongs to Chadwick Boseman, but with a newly found appreciation for diversity among superheroes, Marvel should be keeping it's eyes on Crane.
A physically imposing man, Theodus actively trains in dance and martial arts to hone the grace and skill fitting of a super-human leading man. He has also been working in comedy to continue to expand his range of acting.
We know from Crane's work in The Walking Dead that he is more than capable of authentically portraying a powerful, yet very human and sympathetic, character.
He would make an EXCELLENT Savage Dragon!
We can only hope Marvel will quickly figure out that Theodus Crane is America's Next Top Superhero, and get going on the production of a feature film for him!
