I've been collecting rumours and hard facts for the past days on the new Transformers movie coming out. At CineEurope earlier this year, Paramount Pictures International SVP Edward Ryan confirmed the release date of June 24, 2016. Paramount's Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the producer of the transformers movie series threw the possibility of a G.I.Joe/Transformers crossover that is speculated to be announced in the future. The reason for this is thought to give the G.I.Joe/Transformers toy franchise a boost and besides they are in the same universe, so why not?

“I think later on that’s a possibility but I don't think in the near future” he told Total Film. “It’s not something we talk about either. There’s a lot more story to be told in both cases.

“If at some moment we all think ‘You know what? It’s time to bring the two of them together’ we'll do that, but I think they're strong enough to exist on their own.”

Here's my fact file(to put all this simply)

  • Name: Transformers 5 (faces of darkness?)
  • Developer: Paramount Pictures
  • Producer: Lorenzo di Bonaventura
  • Director: Michael Bay
  • The movie might be a Beast Wars spin-off

Transformers 4 Age of Extinction was meant to be the start of a fresh new trilogy of transformers featuring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynolds.

At the end of Transformers 4 Optimus Prime was off to Cybertron to 'meet our creators' these creators are the Quintessons, who created the transformers. This suggests that we might not see much of our beloved autobot much in the movie as one theory speculates that while Optimus is off-planet, the autobots remaining will have to hold off a siege against Galvatron and his band of Decepticon warriors and along with that it is said he has a new army(more on that later).

There are a lot of new transformers set to make their debut in the next movie and here are some Autobots and Decepticons I believe will appear in the movie.

Optimus Prime

This guy has been in the franchise since the beginning and sadly we probably won't be seeing much of him during Transformers 5

This little Autobot has a huge heart and NO SHIT HE'S GONNA BE IN TRANSFORMERS 5 cos if he ain't well lets just say things aren't gonna turn out good for Michael Bay

Look at that car.....

Ecumenical News reports that Optimus Prime's second-in-command, Ultra Magnus, will show up in the film.Yesh dat is right, old Ultra Magnus is in the house. He sees himself as a soldier and is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. His is strong, resolute, dependable, selfless, and courageous yet sadly he is the only Autobot that doesn't realise this.

Yep, Hound is set to be back for his second movie in the Transformers franchise. This Autobot commando will be back in all his glory and will be a central figure in the next movie as in TF4, before Optimus departed into space, Optimus tells him and the other Autobots to protect the Yeager family.

Back for his second movie, our samurai warrior is gonna be better than ever. Whilst randomly saying haikus, we suspect that drift might go overboard with his animosity at Bumblebee being leader as Optimus left him in charge in his absence.

This self-loving autobot

"Welp, we looked; they're not here. Let's go!"

"What?! Hey, I'm not going anywhere without Tessa!"

"I'm unclear. What's in it for me?"
Crosshairs , Age of Extinction

is back for some more of the action. The coward para-trooper is ready to make mine-meat out of the Decepticons before they know what hit them.

That looks so nice....

Last seen in Transformers-Revenge of the Fallen, Elita-One is one of the autobot triplets and is possibly going to make a comeback in Transformers 5. Hell, we might even get to see Arcee and Chromia!

Yes, FINALLY, one of my favourite Autobots might be confirmed to make his debut in Transformers 5. Prowl can transform into a police car and is a stickler for rules.

The fastest thinking, fastest talking and fastest data courier from Cybertron. I reckon he will appear towards the end of the movie with Optimus. Optimus will have to return sometime and it is possible he might bring Blurr to Earth with him.

We will also be seeing Grimlock, Slug, Strafe and Scorn in the next movie.

Whilst we may also see Slash, Sludge and Snarl!

Around the net there have also been rumours that these Autobots will be in TF5

  • Red Alert
  • Override
  • Wheelie!(will he be back?)
Perhaps he was taking a break?

No need for an explanation

Nemesis Prime

The clone of Optimus Prime. I speculate Galvatron creates him as his new lieutenant (Starscream won't be happy). Nemesis is the exact opposite of Optimus along with all of his abilities except for moral restraint.

Looks great

Star Scream

You all should know him. Star scream is a Decepticon who desires to replace Galvatron as leader of the Decepticons. I reckon he will be back in the fifth installment of the transformers franchise as it is believed he cannot be destroyed.

Sound Wave

Soundwave. The Decepticon communications officer he is Megatron's (or Galvatron's) staunchest supporter. He is Megatron's right hand bot, we last saw him die in Transformers revenge of he Fallen by the hand of Bumblebee. But who said he couldn't be brought back like Megatron was as Galvatron? I reckon he would look better if he was brought back in a similar form of the Transformers Prime cartoon series.

Wellllll, he also turns into a ....

One of my favourite movie characters, Shockwave is a ruthless scientist

“ Emotionless, coldly logical, utterly ruthless... killing is all Shockwave lives for. ” Optimus Prime

who has a strong devotion to logic. I would love it if he somehow made it back into the movies, maybe reincarnated again.

wow just wow. had to be pixellated

A brash and powerful insecticon leader who rounds off their trio. He is a fearless Decepticon and is an expert hunter. He might appear in the movies. He would be a refreshingly new face in the Transformers cinematic universe.

In the shadows...
In the shadows...

Sharpshot is the leader of the Insecticons. He's extremely arrogant and sadistic, but cowardly whenever things don't go his way. He really likes electrocuting things, and seems to gain some sort of pleasure from it like a human taking drugs. Funny thing is, Shockwave considers him the most dangerous of the insecticons.

Onslaught doesn't like getting his hands dirty and enjoys the thrill of designing battle plans and tactics and sitting back whilst his combaticons do the work. He is no coward and can combine with his fellow combaticons to form Bruticus.

Most likely they will all show up in the movie.
Most likely they will all show up in the movie.

An opportunist and con-an, what people would call an 'entrepreneur', Swindle is a combaticon and can form with his mates into Bruticus.

He is the interrogator for the Decepticons and is generally a psychopath as he takes his victim on Mr. Vortex's Wild Ride and take the imprisoned Autobot for a helicopter ride full of twists, turns and near-death experiences Once he has what he wants, Vortex drops his cargo...

Transformers fall of cybertron
Transformers fall of cybertron

Blast-off simply doesn't care. He could be floating all alone in space and he wouldn't give a damn. He is a Combaticon and he couldn't care less.

This Combaticon loves nothing more than the fury of combat, the only thing he enjoys or even cares about. He lives a simple life and is perfectly happy to have Megatron/Galvatron do the thinking for him.

Another samurai. Except with a bad-ass magical sword that has been passed down from ancient times. He is a Metallikato martial artist and has no problem with being defeated by a rival.

The replacement of Devastator and the joined robot of the combaticons, Bruticus is a terrifying sight on the battlefield. Oh and he is dumb as a sack of potatoes and Megatron/Galvatron wishes he has an army of these guys.

And that's all for now post you comments and follow for some more good stuff like this.

Who are you looking forward to joining the TCU?
