If you've been following the slow cinematic emergence of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - and, honestly, who hasn't? - then there's a good chance you're aware of the industrial-scale mountain of internet hate that the DC Cinematic Universe's new Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, has been getting over the past year-and-a-half.

A largely unknown quantity back when her casting was first announced, Gadot entered into a comic-book movie world which seemed determinedly against her casting as the legendary Amazon warrior, with many arguing that she simply didn't look right for the part. In other words, it was widely argued, she was simply too thin to play a superhero - and wouldn't be able to convince as the endlessly bad-ass Wonder Woman.

And then this came out:

And, all of a sudden, a whole lot of the fans who'd been firmly against Gadot's casting changed their minds - y'know, what with the visible bad-assery and all.

And yet, for some, Gadot was still too thin - still too frail-seeming - and it seemed that nothing she did was likely to change their opinion.

Which, if you've ever taken a look at her Instagram feed, is actually kind of surprising. Y'see, as it turns out:

Gal Gadot Is Pretty Darned Bad-Ass

"Wait, who?"
"Wait, who?"

She's a Jason Momoa Hanging-Out-With...

...Stone Cold Bad-Ass

Which might just make her perfect for the part...

What do you think, though?

Will Gad Gadot make a bad-ass Wonder Woman?
