Don't you dream impossible things? Taylor Swift certainly does, such as... having mutant powers and joining the X-Men for X-Men: Apocalypse?

Yep, really. This seems to actually be happening. X-Men: Apocalypse producer Simon Kinberg caused uproar in the Marvel community when he tweeted this photo of himself with Taylor Swift and confirmed X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy (Professor X) and Sophie Turner (Jean Grey).

I love Kinberg's cheeky use of Taylor's most famous lyric - 'Haters gonna hate' - here, as the idea of Taylor Swift entering the Marvel Universe will bring 'em out in droves.

Personally, I adore Taylor Swift (like, actually went to see her live and loved it) and think that she'd be awesome for Dazzler.

Dazzler is a pop star. Taylor Swift is a pop star. Make it happen!

This is one issue I'm hoping to eat my words on - last year I included Dazzler in a list of X-Men we'll probably never see in the movies!

Besides, Taylor Swift has already proven her ability to rock the action sequence - just have a look at her epic superhero-charged video for single 'Bad Blood.'

Kinberg has mentioned before his desire to bring the '80s vibe to full, dazzling life for X-Men: Apocalypse, telling Screen Rant:

"That’s the era that I grew up in. The music, the fashion, the videogames: We really want to integrate all of that in the movie, and have it infuse the movie with a different vibe… Could happen. We’re certainly looking at mutants that would fit into the period."

Ultra-'80s heroines Jubilee and Psylocke (Lana Condor and Olivia Munn) have been confirmed for X-Men: Apocalypse, so why not make it a trio of radical '80s mutant ladies? Dazzler's ability to convert sound into light could be a nice visual for the new X-Men movie. What do you guys think?
