It's one of the most delicious foods on the planet, so I guess it's only natural that when you see a delectable pizza on-screen you immediately have a craving that will only be satisfied upon cramming a whole pizza, or packet of pizza rolls into your mouth as soon as possible.
Much like how Sir Francis Walshe discovered in 1923 that yawning is not a conscious decision, neither is the instant craving you feel when you see a mouthwatering pizza on the screen in front of you. Your mouth begins to water, your stomach grumbles, and your brain will think of nothing except how quickly you can get your little hands on a cheese laden crust as soon as possible.
Filmmakers, of course, have done their part to ensure audience members are in a perpetual state of pizza-hunger, including this cheesy snack in many classic films over the years. From E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to Back to the Future Part II to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and much, much more, they've been the puppet master, pulling the strings of pizza craving through their movies.
However sometimes you don't even need to see a pizza on screen to get that wild hunger - in Jurassic World it was the mere mention of the Totino's pizza brand that had mouths watering all over the place. In fact, after all of this pizza chat, I'm kind of craving some of their pizza rolls right now...
With the must-see movie of the summer, Jurassic World, storming its way into the top 5 highest-grossing movies of all time, why not check out the three best moments in Jurassic World for you to pull out your pizza rolls and start chowing down:
When the Indominus Rex hunts the hunters
With this hybrid monster about to chow down on some crunchy humans, what better time is there to grab a pizza-ry snack of your own? For the authentic Indominus Rex experience I recommend meatball marinara flavored Totino's pizza rolls so you too can imagine you're chowing down on a human....If that's what you're into.
When the Raptor Squad eyes up a possible Owen-bite
When a pig got loose causing a handler to fall into the Raptor cage it was up to Owen Grady, Raptor trainer extraordinaire to calm his raptor squad down. However it looks like a pretty testing task, and by the hungry look in those dinos eyes, the thought of having Owen for a mid-afternoon snack seems pretty appealing. What better time to have a cheesy snack then when one of the cheesiest characters (cheesy in the best way, obvs) is in mortal peril!
When the Mosasaurus leaps for his shark-y treat
The huge, water-based Mosasaurus is definitely one of the best dinosaurs in the Jurassic World park. This huge beasty makes other monsters of the deep look teeny tiny, and those tremendous jaws are a formidable sight. While the Mosasaurus leaps for his dinner in Jurassic World, why not take the time to leap over the back of the couch, run to the oven, slam in a packet of Totino's for a tasty snack? Go on, you've earned it.
