Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dundund dddd dun dun dun dun...DOO WEE DOO!!!
We all know what is the most beautiful sound. The thing that brings hope when everything seems lost. It's blue, it's old and it's...borrowed.
It's the T.A.R.D.I.S. It stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space and it's bigger on the inside. A properly maintained and piloted TARDIS can transport its occupants to any point in time and space. The interior of a TARDIS is much larger than its exterior. It can blend in with its surroundings using the ship's "chameleon circuit". TARDISes also possess a degree of sapience (which has been expressed in a variety of ways ranging from implied machine personality and free will through to the use of a conversant avatar) and provide their users with additional tools and abilities including a telepathically based universal translation system.
However, this Tardis's chameleon circuit is broken, leaving it stuck in the shape of a 1960s-style London police box after a visit to London in 1963.
It is the most magical spaceship and the home of a daft and yet brilliant, old Doctor.
He is over 2000 years old and can cheat death by changing every single cell in his body by regenarating. He is an allien from the planet Gallifrey, he is a Time Lord.
He's been travelling through time and space looking for wonders, adventure, friends, family and danger. He has saved the world with the help of his wonderful and fantastic companions in a more than one ways.
During those years and adventures, he has changed but he always remains the man who saves the world with no exchange. He protects the universe from its villains such as the Master, his nemesis.
Every year, we wait for the new series full of agony and excitement. We wait for the day that we will hear that noise and we will se that blue phone box. We wait for the Doctor.
Here is the trailer for the new series of Doctor Who.
The Doctor lands...at September the 19th!
