When you ask some DC fans , especially if they're not Comic fans , about the most powerful being in DC Universe , they'll answer without hesitation : Superman , but , here you are a list of the most powerful SuperHeroes/Villains of DC Comics that can defenetley be most powerfull than the Man Of Steel
The Presence, otherwise known as the God of the Covenant is the creator of the DC universe in the comic book world, though he's more often spoken of than actually seen
Omnipotence: Unlimited almighty power above all in every sense and aspect.
Omniarch: Rule over everything without limit.
Omnicompetence: Ability to handle all situations.
Omifarious: Ability to transform into/ shapeshift without limit.
Omnificence: Ability to create anything without any limit, on a divine level.
Omnilock: Existing outside of everything.
Omnipresence: Being everywhere and nowhere in existence at once.
Omniscience: Know everything and anything
Omniverse Manipulation: Manipulating the omniverse.
Being the creator of DC Multiverse, there is no limit to The Presence's powers and abilities thus proving him to have no weaknesses
2. Lucifer Morningstar
Once the proudest and most beautiful of all angels in existence and one of two fictionally accredited with the creation of the DC Multiverse, Lucifer was sent by The Presence to rule over Hell after he rebelled. After governing Hell for more than 10 billion years, he left to look for a way out of predestination, to escape Yahweh's great Plan.
Nigh-Omnipotence: Lucifer is able to manipulate any external force for any effect he desires. He cannot, however, create something out of nothing; for this he needs the Demiurgic force of his brother Michael, and later his niece Elaine. Together, Michael and Lucifer are capable of creating anything from living beings to entire multiverses. His most common use of power is calling forth the fire of the various suns he used to birth and burning his opponents to ashes.
Absolute Immortality: Lucifer will never grow physically old and can live forever. He is billions of years old. Only the Presence is said to have the ability to destroy him.
As a psychopomp, Lucifer can choose the soul's destination if he kill a person or a supernatural being ( as a demon ) . He killed Masubi by her own will ; she allowed it to free herself from Izanami's service .
3.Spectre : The Soul Of Vengeance
The Spectre is a supernatural being of nigh-unlimited might whose mission is to unleash the Wrath of God upon evil men. He is always bound to the soul of a deceased human. Three humans have been bound to the Spectre during the modern age, with Jim Corrigan being its current.
The Spectre is one of the most powerful magical and cosmic entities in the DC creation, capable of battling universal foes such as the Anti-Monitor and Parallax. While the Spectre's power unchecked is nearly unlimited and is capable of shattering universes, he is generally limited by the Presence to a lower level of power to prevent the power from corrupting it and its hosts. Despite his low showings due to mainly PIS, CIS and plot inconsistencies; Spectre has displayed incredible feats both with a human host and unbound. Some of the examples of the feats that were accomplished by his hosts include but are not limited to; defeating Zero Hour Parallax (who was powerful enough to restore much of Pre-Crisis multiverse), summoning etherical divine energies of a hundred universes to blast a child who was possessed by a reality warping demon, easily forming itself as a dimensional barrier that prevented two universes from colliding, overcoming the reality warping of a powerful demon lord and defeating him in its own realm in Hell and etc. Unbound Spectre's feats include but are not limited to; easily beating Thunderbolt (A 5th dimensional being), leeching magic from everywhere in the universe, killing Lords of Order and Chaos without much trouble and most importantly depowering Mr Mxyzptlk, who is already powerful enough to easily wipe out the multiverse and etc. Since he is a virtually omnipotent being, he can have and has access to pretty much every power as it was stated by himself when he basically said ''Shazam'' and turned Captain Marvel back into Billy Batson. He usually applies flight, intangibility, invisibility, size manipulation and minor reality warping. But can apply more complex and powerful magicks and abilities as well, such as traveling between dimensions and universes, growing his astral body to a size that is bigger than a solar system and even as big as a universe, manipulating weather, draining life force, literally going into the peoples' psyche and souls that actually contain individual realities or universes and beating them, applying positive energy and anti-matter force and etc.
Originally, Eclipso was the first incarnation of the Spirit of Wrath who went rogue. Sealed inside the Heart of Darkness, he could posses those that came into contact with it, most famously Bruce Gordon. In the New 52, Eclipso is said to be Lord Kaala, the evil offspring from House Onyx and House Diamond born during an eclipse granting him vast powers and eventually becoming the tyrant of Gemworld.
A once-divine being, Eclipso possesses vast magical capabilities that can be wielded to a variety of effects, including flight, size manipulation, and weather manipulation. He can produce energy blasts from his hands and his left eye. He is superhumanly strong and fast. He isrtal. He is capable of taking possession of any person who comes into contact with the Heart of Darkness, the black diamond which contains his soul.
Doctor Fate is a legacy of heroes in the realm of magic who act as agents of the Lords of Order in the battle against chaos, using the powerful Amulet of Anubis, Cloak of Destiny and Helmet of fate.
Doctor Fate possesses various magical powers such as spellcasting, flight,super-strength,invulnerability, telekinesis, telepathy , fire manipulation and lightning manipulation, due to mystical knowledge contained within the helmet. However, Fate is unable to counteract spells that have already been cast and in effect. Fate's magic manifests in the shape of Egyptian hieroglyphs such as an ankh.
6. Mr. Mxyzptlk
Mr. Mxyzptlk is a fifth-dimensional imp with the power to do almost anything he can imagine. He could transform Superman into ashes or erase him from existence, but where's the fun in that?
Magic: Mxyzptlk is nigh-omnipotent and can do virtually anything imaginable; he can ash anything and everything under him.
Teleportation: Mxyzptlk can disappear and reappear anywhere instantly with a thought. In one case, he was able to teleport Bizarro from his planet to Earth almost instantly just by snapping his fingers together, demonstrating a scope to this ability.
Reality Alteration: Mxyzptlk can manipulate logic and the fundamentals of laws with ease, and is often seen doing so by making simple gestures or other motions. He can also reshape earthly objects and make them into something else entirely, as well as create structured lifeforms with full complexions that don't exist just by thinking, and in that regard, he can also make any living organism vanish and become non-existent at a single thought.
Immortality: Mxyzptlk is able to use magic to survive most attacks, making him impossible to defeat without exploiting his weaknesses. He can regenerate and heal himself instantly and has high tolerance to pain.
Flight: Mxyzptlk is able to fly as fast as or even faster than Superman thanks to his magic.
In easy words : he has unlimited power . You may ask why i put him in the 6th position . The answer is easy , Mxyzptlk's actions are governed by restrictions that he establishes for himself. If Mxyzptlk decides that he will return to the 5th Dimension if someone convinces him to (for example) spell his name backwards, then he is obligated to comply with the regulation. Once banished, Mxyzptlk must remain in the 5th Dimension for a minimum of ninety days before returning to Earth. When Mxyzptlk is banished, all of the damage he caused would be reversed and any of his spells or magic used on Earth will fade.
Larfleeze has been somewhat nerfed in terms of his power levels in recent times but , when he first appeared in 2007 , he was seriously powerful individual whose power made Superman's seem almost irrelevant
The character arrived, in the build-up to the Blackest Night storyline, as the sole representative of the Orange Lantern Corps – the Corps powered by the emotion of avarice or greed – and was essentially a one-man Corps. He was powerful enough to take on entire other Corps on his own and was powerful enough to take on the cosmic Guardians by himself (the Guardians being the powerful founders of the Green Lantern Corps).
Larfleeze was so powerful because he is always in close proximity to his Corps’ power battery – an item that normally empowers hundreds, if not thousands, of individual Lanterns.
As a result, he could actually use his own mind to maintain a Corps’ worth of construct – essentially giving him an army of backup created under his own power.
Like any other Lantern, Larfleeze also possessed enhanced physical statistics and immense energy-based powers, but it is the fact he has the power of a whole battery to himself that ensures he has cosmic power beyond that of Superman’s by some distance.
Created by Professor Ivo with revolutionary Absorption Cell Technology. This android can replicate the powers of any metahuman he encounters.
Amazo has the ability to replicate the other abilities of super heroes or villains in his vicinity and can also amplify those powers. He has absorbed the powers of super heroes such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman. He also has replicated the skills of super heroes such as Batman, Green Arrow, and Captain America. He has even replicated weapons such as Wonder Woman's lasso, Green Lantern's ring, and Captain America's shield.
Parallax (yes, the same character portrayed so pitifully in the 2011 Green Lantern film) is actually an insanely powerful character in the comics – to the extent that it would take thousands of Ryan Reynolds wearing Green Lantern rings for the entity to even notice he was there!
Parallax has immense fear-casting and mind-control powers, strong enough to easily frighten and control the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, and even someone like Spectre, except those who are capable of understanding and conquering inner fear such as Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner or Batman. Strangely, it was unable to control Alan Scott even though he experienced fear from Parallax (Abin Sur explains that in humans fear is intellectual, which may have something to do with the ineffectuality of Parallax's powers and the fear entity itself mentioned that Alan's power differs from the fear entity, the Guardians, and the Green Lantern Corps as they derive their powers from emotional spectra), although he did experience a fever which led him to increasingly weaken during Parallax's attempts. It can take possession of someone's body when they feel even the slightest fear. Parallax is also capable of creating solid light constructs, such as creating a convincing duplicate of Sinestro for Hal Jordan to kill. Parallax can create both green and yellow objects or creatures. As a being of pure energy, Parallax has no true physical form of its own; it generally changes into forms that will instill fear in its victims.
The Anti-Monitor is one of the outright most powerful beings in DC Comics, period – which makes it all the worse that he’s a villainous character.
Anti-Monitor is one of the most formidable foes ever faced by the heroes of the DC Universe. He is directly responsible for more deaths than any other known DC supervillain, having destroyed thousands of Universes. He was powerful enough to kill a distracted Supergirl almost effortlessly, though it could be suggested that when the universe 'restarted', most of the deaths attributed to him, in effect, never happened. He consumed thousands of positive-matter universes to increase his power, and was able to personally battle scores of the multiverse's strongest heroes simultaneously. During the Blackest Night, the Anti-Monitor was resurrected as a Black Lantern. However, Nekron was unable to fully control him and thus was only able to subdue the Anti-Monitor to be used as power source for the Black Lantern Corp Battery.
The Anti-Monitor was also responsible for the death of Barry Allen, the hero better known as the Flash. After capturing Barry because his ability to traverse the multiverse unaided made him a dangerous variable, the Anti-Monitor created an Anti-Matter cannon that would destroy the then-five remaining earths with a concentrated beam much faster than the wave of entropy he had originally unleashed. The cannon was destroyed by the Flash when he escaped and forced the energies of the weapon's power source into itself, causing it to explode and Barry to disintegrate.
In addition to possessing vast size (varying from about nine feet, to hundreds of meters tall), vastly superhuman strength, extraordinary durability (by the end of the Crisis series he was able to effortlessly withstand blows from Superman, and even surviving a blue star going supernova), the ability to project destructive bolts of energy, and greatly augmenting another beings' powers (as he did with Psycho-Pirate, whose powers were increased to levels too much for him to handle), the Anti-Monitor also possessed reality-warping abilities, which he displayed by removing Psycho-Pirate's face. The Anti-Monitor also commanded an army of Qwardians and shadow demons, and had access to highly advanced technology capable of shifting, merging, or destroying entire universes.
By far, his most devastating power was the ability to absorb the energies of his surroundings into himself, once he fused with his antimatter universe, he went even as far as absorbing the energies of entire universes. In addition to devouring the energies of untold numbers of universes, he also absorbed the energy of "over one million worlds" in his own anti-matter universe in order to gain the power to travel to the beginning of time, to attempt to stop the creation of the positive matter universe. When Earth's heroes followed him to the beginning of time, he then absorbed all of their power and energy; this made him strong enough to alter the creation of the universe until he was opposed by the Spectre. During his final battle in Crisis on Infinite Earths #12, the Anti-Monitor maintained his power by "feeding on" a nearby star; and when his power was drained and he was reduced to a state of near-death, he absorbed his own anti-matter demons to rejuvenate himself.
Here you are the list , and the order is based on their weakness points which wasn't involved in this post
