So, it finally happened. The end of times. People have lost all hope and others have lost themselves in their most darkest desires. Either you are part of the ones that decided to be consumed by this world or the ones that keep the fight going. It's time to decide which one of them I'm going to be. I haven't seen so much despair since... well, it's been a long time.

I learned long time ago and in other circumstances that when facing adversity and impossible odds, you need three important attributes: Courage, Wisdom & Power.

Courage to keep going and show strength in the face of danger. Wisdom from having the experience, knowledge, and good judgment to survive. And finally, power, to have the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.

I have none of these qualities but I know three people that do. And my job is to find them, unite them and show them that this world can still be saved.

1. William Wallace - Braveheart

"Every man dies, not every man truly lives"
"Every man dies, not every man truly lives"

First of all, the new world needs to recover the sense of hope. They need to believe there's someone out there that they can look up to. Someone they can see and talk to. In this world where faith is no longer a comfort, a man of flesh and bone will be needed to rally the survivors.

William Wallace is that man. Wallace imbues courage. He is a leader that fights and leads from the front-lines. He would find strength and motivation in the worst of situations. His words take over hearts and will empower others so they won't waver. He is someone willing to die for what he believes in. With Wallace in charge, survivors will become warrior poets.

2. Eli - The Book of Eli

"Do more for others than you do for yourself"
"Do more for others than you do for yourself"

Even the greatest of leaders has his or her resolve shaken from time to time. Even the most optimistic person will find a reason to despair. William Wallace will be our leader but he will need someone that puts him back on the path if he deviates from it. Someone that will keep reminding him of the mission. Someone that will hold everything together. Someone wise.

Eli exemplifies wisdom. A man that has traveled this post-apocalyptic world and is familiar with it. A man with survival and fighting skills. Although physically blind, Eli is a man with great vision. A vision that might seem cruel sometimes but his counsel will contribute to the greater good. In this dying world, not everybody can be saved. Eli knows this and will help our leader, William Wallace, to understand this.

3. Geralt of Rivia - The Witcher

"There's no difference between a monster and a man"
"There's no difference between a monster and a man"

This world has taken everything from people. Their sanity, their families, their will to live. But no loss is greater than to lose your own humanity. No one knows this better than Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf.

Geralt has seen the worst humanity can throw at this world. Gerlat has the power needed to make the hardest of choices. He has the power to tip the balance on anyone's favor. His fighting skills will be invaluable as well as his alchemy knowledge. He will be the enforcer, medic and tracker of the group. He will be in charge of teaching survivors how to fight and defend themselves. He will be in charge of gathering resources and teaching how to acquire them.

He will be tricky to convince to join the cause since his loyalty needs to be earned.

A loner by nature. Geralt is someone that prefers to remain neutral and his skills never come for free. But even Geralt can be convinced to join a cause with the right motivation. Power can be dangerous if left unchecked but with William Wallace as the leader and Eli as the voice of reason, the raw power of Geralt will achieve the balance it desperately needs.

These men will be the foundation of a new world that could find hope and thrive once more. I know it's possible, I've seen it happen before.

You may be asking yourself who I am. Well, my name is Navi. I come from a world from a different time that understood once what it is to be in peace one moment and death and destruction afterwards.

I've witnessed courage in incredible noble creatures, wisdom in the fairest of individuals and unbelievable power displayed by mere mortals. In that world, these attributes are known as the Triforce and once they are hold together in one place, incredible things can happen.

It doesn't matter what world or universe we decide to describe, these attributes will always be present. These qualities are what inspire men and women to do great or despicable things.

Maybe, just maybe, these men will accomplish the impossible. But, hey, I once met a young man that showed me it's possible to be the light that flickers in the darkness.

Well, there you have it. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you enjoyed the read.
