Last year, Comic-Con gave us some of our first glimpses at the style behind Duncan Jones' live-action Warcraft adaptation. 2015's Con is no different, although this time we've been given something a bit more substantial.

Legendary Pictures has just released two character posters for the movie based on the immensely popular MMORPG and RTS fantasy games. In them, we get to see Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and Durotan (Toby Kebbell) in all their Warcraft-y glory. Check them out below:

Fans of the video game series will no doubt recognize and appreciate the similarity between the film and video game aesthetic, as well as the attention being paid to both Alliance and Horde characters.

One of the central premises of the World of Warcraft plot is that neither group are really the bad guys per se - even if the Horde are represented as more traditional monsters. Hopefully, this element of the game will also work its way into the film and provide something a bit more interesting than the usual noble knights vs savage orcs storyline. Luckily, the tagline of "Two Worlds. One Home" suggests this could be what we're getting. Grab a small slice of the story in the World of Warcraft opening cinematic below:

Warcraft is due to enter theaters on 10 June, 2016.
