(Note, MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS for X-Men: Apocalypse lie below. Like Taylor Swift says: "Don't say I didn't say I didn't warn you"...)

Now, over the past few months, we've heard a whole lot from the set of Fox's upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse- but in large part, it's all been about the cast, and little else. Now, when those casting announcements are as exciting as they have been (Nightcrawler! Psylocke! Mohawk-ed Storm!) that's not really much of a problem - but it'd still be nice to know a little more about the movie's plot ahead of its release next year.

Which, it seems, is something Fox's SDCC 2015 panel was more than happy to help us out with, seeing as after it:

We Now Know a Whole Lot About X-Men: Apocalypse's Plot

Including that - according to the footage that was screened there:

So much so, in fact, that it looks as though Magneto has actually settled down to some kind of peaceful existence.

That looks set to be shattered by the arrival of Apocalypse, however - who appears to recruit Magneto to be one of his horseman. He's not alone, however:

Or, at least, it sure looks that way in the footage, by all accounts.

Meanwhile, it looks as though it's an attack from Apocalypse that ultimately makes Professor X bald - which comes at a bad time, since he's also having to deal with Jean Grey having visions of the world ending.

Other than that, it seems that all of our favorite characters are very much accounted for - though no word as yet about whether Wolverine will indeed appear - including brief glimpses of Quicksilver, Mystique and Beast, and a whole bunch of the new cast-members.

And, most important of all?

Storm totally has a mohawk - and it sounds incredible.

We'll have more for you when/if the footage makes it online - but in the meantime...

What do you reckon?
