I'm not really sure where to start with this one, so I'll just dive straight into it. Director and writer Kevin Smith has just revealed who he'll play in his upcoming comedy-horror Yoga Hosers.
He'll be performing in the role of the "Bratzi," a sentient one-foot tall Canadian Nazi bratwurst sausage. Even in this job, that's a sentence I never thought I'd write.
Smith took to his Facebook page to share the following snap of his character, which was created by From Dusk till Dawn's Robert Kurtzman:
BEHOLD THE BRATZI – a foot tall Canadian Nazi made of sentient Bratwurst! THIS is why I shaved my beard months back: to play the villains in ‘Yoga Hosers’!
The film has been described as a spin-off of Smith's 2014 horror Tusk, and will also feature many of the same stars, including Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment and Johnny Depp - who'll be returning in his role of Guy Lapointe. Furthermore, the film will once again see Smith and Depp's own daughters, Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Melody Depp, star as convenience store clerks.
We expected to receive a trailer out of Comic-Con, but one never materialized. However, we do have a short synopsis:
Two teenage yoga enthusiasts team up with a legendary man-hunter to battle with an ancient evil presence that is threatening their major party plans.
It is expected to be in theaters sometime in 2016.
