Esteemed comic book legend Stan Lee - famed for creating pretty much all of my favorite superheroes, including Spider-Man, the Hulk and Iron Man - has become something of a cameo connoisseur, and is set to continue the long running tradition of appearing in the Marvel universe with a "different" role in X-Men: Apocalypse.
During a panel at Comic Con, Lee began to discuss his cameo in Bryan Singer's upcoming movie, when a moderator interrupted to whisper something into his ear. "When you say I'm not allowed — will I be arrested?" Lee asked, and then continued on anyway:
"When you go see the next 'X-Men' movie when it comes out, and see my fantastic cameo, you will say, 'I remember he told me about it here. It's a different cameo in that it has one additional thing in it."
"Different," huh? Can we expect a fully fledged character played by Lee this time?! His previous appearances in the X-Men series have been characteristically brief, though this upcoming one might just break that trend...

Lee's easter egg appearances have become a beloved tradition, with eagle-eyed fans constantly on the look out for that iconic white moustache. Check out a compilation of his cameos below:
I can't wait to see what the Apocalypse one turns out to be!
