Lea Michele was at San Diego Comic-Con promoting her second Ryan Murphy project, Scream Queens, but there was something much more significant on her mind come July 13.

On that day two years ago, her significant other and Glee co-star Cory Monteith tragically passed away after ingesting a lethal combination of alcohol and heroin. The news shook fans, dedicated and casual alike, across the world, but the cast and crew of Glee had a special relationship with Monteith that came across in their touching tributes.

Based on their accounts, he was truly an amazing, inspiring, and all-around positive guy, and on the second anniversary of his death, Lea Michele is reminding us of just how much we lost that day.

It's safe to say that this post is making me feel anything but glee, but it's also incredibly touching to see how much these two actors meant to each other.

Lea Michele continues to impress me with her poise and composure when it comes to talking about one of the most harrowing days of her life. It really makes you wish that these two kids could get a second chance to be together.
