Became vengeance at about the age of four on this planet.

The San Diego Comic-Con trailer for the upcoming movie Suicide Squad has finally dropped online. Guessing that you've seen it by now, I would like to talk about the two stars of the trailer: Harley Quinn and the Joker, and the fan theory surrounding them with as much detail as the Trailer allows.

The first interesting tidbit we see in the trailer, aside from the main characters, are these guys in the image below.

We see who we can presume, are other members of their group here too...

...and also here with Dr. Harleen Quinzel, I would guess.

How do I know that these are the same guys? They don't seem to be wearing masks. Well, look at the far left of the picture, you can see a portion of a black and white figure. It's this guy in the Panda suit in the image below

In this shot We see him in a sequence along with his friends in what seems to be a factory...

...and it doesn't seem to be the same location that we see Harleen in, because I'm pretty sure that she is in Arkham Asylum when she is assaulted (we know its in the movie, the director confirmed). How do I know it's Arkham Asylum, well look at the picture below...

....You can see Joker, the panda guy, again to the far left, and a medicine cabinet. The lighting in this picture resembles the one in the image where Harleen is nailed down by the criminals that seem to be working for the Clown Prince of Crime, who we can see in that same factory place here

A medicine cabinet and psychiatrist are too much of a coincidence for me not to guess that this is an asylum we're seeing here.

'I'm not going to kill you..."
'I'm not going to kill you..."

That's the Joker holding down his precious Harley...

"...I'm just going to hurt you really, really bad"
"...I'm just going to hurt you really, really bad"

And here, I would say, is him telling her what he's going to do to here. Which, according to me, turning her to Harley Quinn.

So why Harleen? Are they complete strangers to each other, or have they met?Your Breaking into the Asylum you probably escaped from and from hundreds of doctors you chose poor little Dr. Quinzel, why?

I'd go with the second guess. When Joker comes from afar in the picture with the medicine cabinet (presuming that Harleen is in that scene held down by his men), he has his arms up all like "Here I am Harley, you can't run from me forever"

They do know each other, they have met, probably like in the old origin story for Harley's character. But here's where I think it's different.

On the set of the movie, Harleen isn't happy.
On the set of the movie, Harleen isn't happy.

So here's my theory: Joker is taken to Arkham Asylum, Dr. Harleen is assigned to treat him but the Handsome Devil gets her head over heels for him and probably convinces her to help him escape. Whatever Happens, Harleen shows hesitation towards him and even tries to end it all with a bullet to the head after his escape, but her head is still over her heels and she doesn't do it so she runs away. But he doesn't like that, he comes back to the asylum to claim here forever his. He hurts her really really bad... Harleen dies and Harley is born.

What do you think of this potentially new-ish origins for the famous character. I personally like it, shows that Harley isn't totally and willingly lost under Joker's control. Voice your opinion below, but please go easy on me, this is only my first article.
