If you haven't read the post below I shall explain that I watched Casino Royale (which the review is below this one) and Quantum of Solace back to back and this is the review for the second film. Quantum of Solace centers on Bond directly after the events of Casino Royale which takes him to uncovering an organisation with great power and an unclear purpose, his investigation leads him to Dominic Greene a wealthy businessman with plans to buy a patch of land in Bolivia; after discovering Greene's true intentions Bond attempts to stop him. Quantum of Solace stars Judi Dench, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric and Daniel Craig as James Bond.

There are a few positives to this film which are: the action is great, the story progression was good, the performances in the film are very good and there are some tense moments. To expand, like it was in the first film the action is fantastic and makes the film quite tense in moments; Daniel Craig pulls out a good performance again as with everyone else in the film. On the side of negatives there are a few more, which are: the story isn't great, the film isn't very intriguing, I wasn't attached to the characters and there is a lack of gadgets. The plot in this film is fine but that's it there is nothing special about it and it is a little predictable, this means it doesn't have the intrigue that Casino Royale had.

Overall even with its flaws Quantum of Solace is still has some good action and there is some enjoyment to be had so taking everything I have said into consideration I rate this film:
