The Flash is becoming a bigger icon than he ever has been before. There's the Emmy-nominated, hit CW show and in just a couple years, there'll be another version of the character sprinting in theaters alongside the Justice League in Justice League Part One.

Not every fan has been keen on the casting of Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, but hopefully the newest interview with MTV News changes some feelings.

Hopefully you're able to watch the interview, because the 22-year old actor exudes so much energy and joy.

Don't expect Ezra Miller to be himself as The Flash. He's an actor and a very talented one. He's not going to be how he was in the interview, but do expect that level of energy and excitement as he plays the Fastest Man Alive.

Also, for now, Grant Gustin will be The Flash in the DC Extended Universe. It's not happening. If he had to film for Justice League Part One and The Flash movie, there would not be enough time for filming The Flash TV Series. While Gustin is an amazing Flash, give Ezra Miller a chance.

How Ezra Miller Got the Role of a Lifetime

Ezra Miller is obviously enthusiastic about playing The Flash, but how did he get the role? On November 9, 2013, Superhero Movie News exclusively revealed that Ezra Miller and Penn Badgley were part of the shortlist of people to play Nightwing. Yes, Warner Bros. allegedly wanted to cast Nightwing and they are still keeping it a secret. Later, Zack Snyder called Ezra Miller and convinced him to play The Flash, which was announced on October 15, 2014. Other than that, not much is known.

Will Ezra Miller have a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Yes, but only according to rumors. It is best to expect him to appear in the movie, as it will lead into Justice League Part One. Before you think Batman v Superman will be overcrowded, just remember that Aquaman, Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Barry Allen/The Flash have not appeared in the trailers and they will not be a distraction to the plot.

Ezra Miller as Barry Allen

What many people don't know is that at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Warner Bros. showed a sizzle reel that included almost all of the DC films. The big news from that video was that the title of the Green Lantern reboot film was Green Lantern Corps. What was also shown was concept art for Barry Allen/The Flash.

Thanks to Caleb Williams (@KnightGambit), we have a blurry picture of what Ezra Miller may look like as Barry Allen. If it's hard to see, Barry is holding a piece of evidence (presumably a bullet) and is wearing a lab coat in front of yellow "CAUTION" tape. His hair is dark and while other descriptions have claimed he had long and black hair, this appears to look shorter, like the hairstyle pictured below.

Yes, he's Mitch Grassi from Pentatonix.

Of course, it doesn't look like any hairstyle Barry Allen has had in the comic books, but Grant Gustin doesn't have blond hair either. It's not it extremely changes the character. The hair will be under the red cowl for half of the time anyway.

In addition to concept art of Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, concept art of The Flash costume was also briefly shown. One of the attendees of the panel told me that the costume was red, sleek, and armor-like.

Above is The Flash's main Injustice: Gods Among Us skin, which could definitely work for the cinematic version of the character. Assuming Michael Wilkinson will be designing the costume, all fans are in for a nice treat.

Stay tuned as more details trickle in.
