One of the most critically acclaimed video game franchises of all time, the Uncharted series has long been rumored to be turned into a movie. One of the things that makes the Uncharted games so fun to play, and even to watch, are the characters. Everyone has unique personalities and are interesting enough to hold their own in solo movies.

I. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

The first Uncharted movie would need to be released before the UCU (Uncharted Cinematic Universe) could begin, this way audiences would be introduced to the characters of the franchise.

II. Victor Sullivan

Victor "Sully" Sullivan serves as Nathan Drake's friend, mentor, and partner in crime throughout all the Uncharted games. In the opening sequence of Uncharted: Drake's Deception (the third game in the series) we got to see a younger Sully still robbing museums before he met Nate for the first time. An origin story for Sully would be great, for new fans and old fans because we have seen so little about him. Was he always the gruff yet level-headed thief we see in the games? Or was there a time in his life where he was more reckless? Give him his own treasure to find, give him his story before he met Nate, give him a reason for being the way he is. An origin to one of the most popular characters in the game would be a must-see movie.

III. The Best in the Business

Since Chloe isn't introduced until the second Uncharted, her movie would have to be after the second films release. Nevertheless, a solo film would let audiences see Chloe's story, her background and details as to what makes her "the best driver in the business". This would be an incredibly fun movie to see think The Transporter meets Indiana Jones. Have Chloe pull off her own heist, delve into her character and the people in her life. Just something off the top of my head, (this is all from my mind and is in no way canon) have a young Chloe run away from her mobster family via flashback then fast-forward to present day where her family finally catches up with her. Instead of killing her, they recruit her to pull of an elaborate heist. Chloe's a great character and having a movie focusing on her would be fantastic for fans as well as having a great female protagonist.

IV. Leading the Devil

Karl Schäfer: Professional Nazi Killer
Karl Schäfer: Professional Nazi Killer

Along with the awesomness that is Chloe Frazer, Uncharted: Among Thieves also introduces Karl Schäfer. This movie would be a prequel, telling the story Schäfer tells Nate in the movie. When he was a young man, Schäfer was recruited by the Nazis in World War II to lead members of the Ahnenerbe (those guys that always gave Indy such a hard time) to the Himalayas in hopes that he would lead them to Shambhala, or Shangri-La. Realizing that the Nazi's must never have the power of the Cintamani Stone, he killed his entire team and almost died in the mountains but was saved by members of a nearby village and brought back to health. Talk about badass. This movie would not only be a great action/ adventure, but would be a fascinating look into Schäfer's actions. Is murder ever right? Does ethical murder exist? Although Schäfer seems to be very sure of his decision in the game, did his actions ever weigh on him? Think of the quote from Netflix's Daredevil, "Another man's evil does not make you good."

I would love to see an Uncharted Cinematic Universe, there are just too many possibilities to leave untouched. Would you like to see one of these ideas on the big screen? Let me know below!
