Hey guys, wanna see something that'll get Marvel fans' tongues wagging? New Spider-Man Tom Holland recently Instagram'd a pic of himself on set of his latest movie, alongside a certain The Walking Dead alum and our brand new Frank Castle, Jon Bernthal.

The pairing, who are currently in Ireland shooting the action-thriller Pilgrimage, managed to set a trail of excitement alight, with fans beginning to speculate as to whether there'll be a chance the two will cross paths as their individual Marvel stalwarts in either Daredevil season 2 or Captain America: Civil War.

Had an amazing time hanging with this guy. Much love brother. #pilgrimage #brothers.

Though it seems highly unlikely that a crossover will happen anytime soon, there is an outside possibility that Spider-Man may appear in Netflix's Daredevil series, and if he does... does that mean 'The Omega Arc' storyline?

Possibly, but eventually after Bernthal's Punisher and Charlie Cox's Daredevil kick two shades of crap out of each other.

You know what I would've loved to have seen, though? Civil War Spider-Man feeling into the sewers and being set upon by a few members of his rogue's gallery, then the Punisher saving the day by killing them in cold blood. This is one of the standout moments in Civil War for me, and it's a damn shame it won't happen on the silver screen.

Powerful.
Powerful.

But at least we'll get to see Daredevil and Punisher duking it out on our laptops, around the same time Iron Man and Captain America will be trading blows in cinemas. Glass half full, I believe.
