Disney is keeping their fans full of excitement by churning out announcements for loads of new live-action films heading our way. These films will be based on nostalgic Disney classics and they have a huge audience to keep happy. So far they have announced Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Dumbo, Mulan, and Winnie the Pooh, but little is known about who the full cast may be. The only finalized cast is Beauty and The Beast's, where the talented Luke Evans is going to be taking on the role of the vain Gaston, with Emma Watson as Belle.

Maleficent got to be the star of her very own feature film, with the stunning Angelina Jolie taking the lead. But what about the other villains left? Last week I brought to you my fan casting of who I think should be cast as the live-action Disney princesses. Now it's time for me to showcase which actors I think should be cast as those meddling Disney villains!

Disney has already confirmed live-action versions of the following films. But, as they are taking their sweet time with castings I picked some actors out for them!

Hiroyuki Sanada as Shan Yu (Mulan)

This actor is so epically badass, with his advanced martial arts skills and a diverse amount of acting experience he could bring to the role. Hiroyuki has worked on everything from Wolverine to The Minions to Lost and a whole array of Japanese films!

Divine as Ursula (The Little Mermaid)

Divine may have passed on to another fabulous world, but I think it would be a crime to try and replace her with anyone else. It is also rumored that Divine was the character that Disney based Ursula on. I love Divine and I do miss seeing her in films, she starred alongside Ricki Lake in Hairspray!

Johnny Depp as Jafar (Aladdin)

I loved Johnny's portrayal of the Wolf in the recently released film Into The Woods and it got me wondering if maybe its time for Johnny to take on more villainous role, he would certainly look the part!

Gary Oldman as Scar (Lion King)

Gary Oldman is epic at playing evil villainous characters and I cannot think of anyone better to play Scar. Just imagine Scar with the voice of Sirus Black from Harry Potter, ohhh I'm trembling already (with fear).

Live-action villains who really should get their own films in the future:

Megan Fox as the Evil Queen (Snow White)

Megan has really incredible features and cheek bones that would be a perfect match for the Evil Queen. She is more than just a beautiful woman, but a super talented actress too. Megan was fantastic in the Transformers movie and it would be great to see her take on something entirely different!

Prince as Dr. Facilier (The Princess and the Frog)

These two look like twins separated at birth! I am sure the creators of Dr. Facilier must have been inspired by Prince as the similarities are uncanny! Prince may not be a fully fledged actor but his mysteriousness and theatrical performances on stage would be the perfect match for Dr. Facilier.

Helena Bonham Carter as Mother Gothel (Tangled)

Helena's luscious locks and facial structure already set her apart from other potentials who may wish to be Mother Gothel. Helena totally nailed the performance of Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and I think she would make a fantastic Mother Gothel too!

Danny DeVito as Governor Ratcliffe (Pocohontas)

Danny's former roles may just surprise you! Did you know that he is the voice of The Lorax? Okay, you probably knew that one! But how about the voice of Phil in Hercules? Danny has also showcased his diverse acting talents in some villainous roles too, like when he was Matilda's con-man of a father in Matilda! It would be fun to see him in the roll of Governor Ratcliffe.

William Dafoe as Hades (Hercules)

Well, this Spider-Man actor certainly won't have a problem busting out the same disturbing facial expressions as Hades. Oh, and then he is totes an amazing actor too, so let's just combine these two talents and there you have it, Hades.

Sir Ian Mckellen as Claude Frollo (Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Ian Mckellen was fantastic as Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. He has already started filming for the new live action of Beauty and The Beast, where he will be playing Cogsworth. He should join the dark side of Disney next and take on the role of the ruthless Judge Claude Frollo.

So there we have it, my little list of who I think Disney should cast in those villainous live-action roles. If you don't agree with my selections then drop a comment below with who you prefer to see stepping into the villains' shoes!
