I don't know about you, but some of my absolute favorite days and nights are spent lounging around at home in my PJs and watching movies back to back. We're all film buffs here, so we KNOW you guys have some great movie recommendations. Well, all those years of movie marathons and epic binge-watching are about to pay off!

Your Mission:

A 'double feature' or 'double bill' is a classic cinema format where theaters would run two films back-to-back. Sometimes, these films would be related and sometimes they would be polar opposites... but still somehow a perfect match!

Your mission is to tell us which two movies shouldn't go together in theory, but actually make a perfect double feature!

Here's an example to get your creativity flowing...

What Is the Perfect (but unlikely) Double-bill to Watch with Your Brother?

Brotherly love can be a strange thing. You know one another so well that you can drive each other nuts, while still managing to be each others' best ally in times of need. One of those times when you need your brother to be caring and considerate is when choosing which movie to watch. However, your days of arguing your way through Netflix and your Blu-Ray collection are over, because I've got the perfect double bill that you should watch with your brother!

Thor (2011)

Most of the pros of watching Chris Hemsworth's first outing as the god of thunder are obvious; the action is intense, the romance is unlikely and heart-warming and, of course, it's just one of the movies that geared us up for The Avengers. However, the real reason you should watch this with your brother is because of the family dynamic between Thor, his adopted brother Loki, and their father, Odin. The movie shows us a turbulent journey that massively divides the two brothers. By the end of the movie, the human world may be safe, but their brotherly companionship has been torn apart (spoilers!).

This might actually sound like one of the worst movies to watch with your brother, right? However, this is just the first movie of an unlikely (but awesome) double bill! So, what should we watch after witnessing Thor and Loki's brotherhood diminish faster than you can say 'Mjölnir'?

Step Brothers

Yep, you heard correctly! After Thor and Loki's head-to-head, it's time to check out two more gods of mischief! Step Brothers tells the story of Brennan and Dale, two middle-aged guys who still live with their respective parents. When Brennan's mom and Dale's father get married, the two odd-balls have to learn to live with their new step brother. This is not only one of Will Ferrell's funniest comedies, but also shows the highs and lows of having a brother. Having just watched the bitterness between Thor and Loki, this movie is the perfect way to remind your brother (and yourself) why having a brother can be the best thing EVER!

So, as you can see, these movies make a surprising double bill, but also a perfect one! As if that hasn't convinced you, here's some awesome fan art by Marco D'Alfonso
