I'm so excited that Tatiana Maslany has finally been recognized for an Emmy nomination. If she doesn't win the category, I'm going to take it personally, but at least an actress in a not too well known Sci-Fi television series is being recognized for her talent.
Orphan Black is one of the best shows out there. I think that not many are aware of the show due to it being on Saturdays and BBC America. The latest season finished up recently and I could not have been happier with how well done it was. It's clear that the writers, directors, cast and crew are interested in giving us all an awesome show. I've been sulking since the show wrapped up around the same time as Game of Thrones and we have to wait until next Spring for both again!
I think the Clone Club is more interested in Tatiana getting an Emmy than she is. She's just being modest. We know she's the best actress in TV at this moment. No one else is playing multiple characters believably. She's amazing. I forget it's the same person playing the characters sometimes because she has given each of them their own personality and style.
I was introduced to Orphan Black by a friend and was hooked after the first episode, so I obsessively watched all of Season 1 on Amazon Prime, just before Season 2 aired. Since then, I've been the one introducing anyone I can to the show. It's so fun and intelligent. Plus, I love science and music, so this show has basically everything I want. If you haven't been checking out this series, you've been missing out. You'll be addicted to it though, so don't cry too much when you're all caught up and have to wait until Spring for the next season.
