Emmy nominations came out Thursday. And while they did a lot right (Tatiana Maslany, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Amy Schumer), they also got some things wrong (No Americans, Empire, or Ellie Kemper. And 4 for Gotham). The category that mess up the most was not one of the bigger ones. No, they forgot to nominate a show for stunt coordination. To be exact, they forgot one show in particular: Arrow.

No. Arrow did not get nominated for the thing it does the best. And while I understand that Arrow's season three was not the most loved. But you can't tell me they did have some damn good stunts. From Arrow fighting Oliver Queen to the Suicide Squad fight, to fight handfuls of League assassins, Arrow never disappointed.

If you need more specific examples, look at the large scale battle from episode 22.

Episode 22: This is Your Sword
Episode 22: This is Your Sword

Diggle! Felicity! Merlyn! Atom! Katana! Black Canary! The fight had everything. From cool sword fights, to fist fight, to even some comedy. It was one of the seasons best. Not a fan of that one? How about the fight between Ra's and Thea.

Episode 19: Broken Arrow
Episode 19: Broken Arrow

Not only did Thea hold her own, you can also tell how useless she was against him. Need one more/ How about Arrow vs. Atom?

Episode 17: Suicidal Tendencies
Episode 17: Suicidal Tendencies

Short (far too short), but sweet.

If not Arrow than who?

I can agree with most of the shows that got nominated. Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Blacklist, and Sons of Anarchy are all shows I can understand. But how did Boardwalk Empire get a nod before Arrow?

If you can't get behind Arrow, than how about Netflix's Daredevil? That scene in episode 2? The camera doesn't move out of the hallway, and yet it was awesome.

Episode 2: Cut Man
Episode 2: Cut Man

Or how about Daredevil's fight against Nobu?

Episode 9: Speak of the Devil
Episode 9: Speak of the Devil

Not into Daredevil? How about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? There were many great fights throughout the year with May, Bobbi, Skye, and the rest. May vs. Mockingbird? Mack, Coulson, Fitz vs. Gordon? What about that long tracking shot from Skye? Even Agent Carter had some great fights. How about that diner scene?

Episode 6: A Sin to Err
Episode 6: A Sin to Err

One of these shows deserved the Emmy nomination before Boardwalk Empire. I don't ate that show or anything. I just don't think its stunts are up to snuff.
