Like all Marvel movies Antman pushes past the audiences expectations, and completely astounds you with every aspect of it.

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison is recruited to be Ant-Man by Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink and gives him superhuman strength, reflexes and control of an army of ants. The mini hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, (Corey Stoll) from using the same technology and using it for evil purposes.

It takes a while for the action to kick in, but once it does, it is amazing. The storyline is so intriguing, so even when the action dies down you will not loose interest.

Marvel took Antman in a different direction than usual, it was definitely a more intimate and family friendly movie. Antman was full of hilarity all the way through. It was a real treat.

The action scenes were completely different from what we always see, they were really innovative and very well done. The special effects were sensational!

Paul Rudd, the Antman himself made a terrific and hilarious superhero.

People were very skeptical about Antman becoming a movie, but director Peyton Reed and the entire cast and crew sure proved them wrong.

With great performances all around from every single member of the cast,

and a very well written screenplay.

My personal favorite parts of the movie were all the references and connections to SHIELD, Hydra and of course, the Avengers. The best one being the very subtle and very well placed reference to our very own web slinging superhero. Not to mention the appearance of one of the Avengers themselves.

Another incredible and very important addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We will definitely be seeing Antman in Captain America: Civil War. One tiny superhero, but one hell of a huge movie!

Do you think Antman would make a good Avenger?
