It's time for part 3 of the Underrated Horror Actors & Actresses series. This installment will have a few names that are well known throughout other genres but not so well known in the horror world. How many names will you recognize?

10. Kellan Lutz

Kellan Lutz

Kellan Lutz is best known for his role as Emmett in the teen romance Twilight saga, but he has also been making a stir in the horror genre. Lutz began his path in horror with a cameo on HBO's hit series Six Feet Under. He can also be found in the horror/paranormal film Ghosts of Gold Field, the crime drama Meskada opposite The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus and his most recent stint in horror came in the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elms Street as Dean. With a muscular build and fantastic acting capabilities, Lutz would make for a strong presence in the horror genre.

9. Laura Prepon

Laura Prepon

Laura Prepon is best known as the redheaded hottie Donna from That 70's Show and currently as the seductive Alex Vause on Orange Is the New Black, but did you know that she has also had roles in horror? In 2004 Prepon starred in a horror/thriller titled Lightening Bug. She also had a cameo on Medium. She starred opposite Misha Collins in 2006's Karla. She can also be found in the 2011 thriller The Killing Game.

8. Joey Fatone

Joey Fatone is best known for his days in the 90's boy band NSYNC. Fatone's first horror film was Inkubus in which he starred opposite some pretty big names in the horror genre, Robert Englund and William Forsythe. Not long after, he had a cameo in the campy, made-for-TV Jersey Shore Shark Attack. In 2013 Fatone starred in Army of the Damned which also starred horror greats Tony Todd, Michael Berryman and Nick Principe. He is set to star in Dead 7, a western zombie film that will be written and directed by former boy bander Nick Carter. The film was announced at San Diego Comic-Con and will also star Nick Carter and A.J. McLean formerly of The Backstreet Boys for SyFy.

7. Daeg Faerch

Daeg Faerch is quite the amazing actor. Most horror fans will recognize him as youg Michael Myers from Rob Zombie's 2007 re-imagining of Halloween, but that is not the only horror project that he has worked on. Most of Faerch's acting has been done in short films such as 2006's Angry Ghost and 2009's Necromance. He had a cameo on 2 episodes of Pushing Daisies. More full length horror/thriller features that Faerch can be found in include 2007's Dark Mirror, Run! Bitch Run!, 2011's Sebastian, upcoming thrillers Amnesia and The Glass Circle. His next horror feature in William Froste which will also star names such as Miko Hughes and Tyler Mane.

6. Abigail Breslin

Abigail Breslin is best known for her role in the family comedy Little Miss Sunshine, but like most actresses that grow up in the "good girl" roles, Breslin has branched out into the world of horror. Her first taste of the horror genre came in the 2002 M. Night Shyamalan film Signs. She can also be found in horrorcentric films such as Zombieland, Haunter and Maggie opposite Arnold Scharzenegger. Breslin will also be starring in the upcoming film Final Girl and TV series Scream Queens.

5. Joel David Moore

Joel David Moore

Joel David Moore is best known for his roles in comedy films such as 2006's Grandma's Boy in which he played robot-loving, video game designing genius J.P.. Moore transitioned into horror in Adam Green's film Hatchet as Ben. After Hatchet, Moore became a regular in Adam Green's projects such as Spiral, Chillerama, Hatchet III and a few shorts for Ariescope.com. Moore can also be found in films like Avatar, The Dead One, Shark Night 3D, Gone and The Guest.

4. Olivia Cooke

Olivia Cooke

Olivia Cooke is best known as the adorable, fearless Emma of A&E's hit series Bates Motel. Cooke has also done a string of TV mini-series such as Blackout and The Secret of Crickley Hall. She can be found in feature films such as Ouija and The Quiet Ones. Her next horror/thriller performance will be in the upcoming film The Limehouse Golem and the next season of Bates Motel.

3. Emma Bell

The lovely Emma Bell has had cameos on TV series such as Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural. Some of the features she can be found in include Adam Green's Frozen, Final Destination 5 and an uncredited role in Hatchet II. She is possibly best known for her role as Amy, the little sister of Andrea on AMC's The Walking Dead. Bell does not have any upcoming horror films, but will have roles in comedy and drama films.

2. Tom Hardy

By now, who doesn't know who Tom Hardy is? His name has become synonymous with action films. He was Shinzon in Star Trek: Nemesis, Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and he portrayed England's most violent criminal Charles Bronson in Bronson. Fans truly fell in love with this tattooed bad-ass in Christopher Nolan's Inception as Eames opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It is easy to say that Hardy has made a career of playing the bad guy or the guy that is completely off his rocker, so horror is a perfect fit for him. Some of his horror/thriller roles include Matthew in 2006's TV adaptation of Sweeney Todd, Theo in Minotaur (opposite Tony Todd), Jack Donnelly in Meadowlands (previously titled Cape Wrath) opposite David Morrissey, The Killing Gene and most recently, the role of Alfie Solomons on the British horror/thriller series Peaky Blinders (now streaming on Netflix). Tom Hardy can be found playing identical twin crime bosses Ronald and Reginald Kray in the crime drama Legend and reprising his role of Max Rockatansky in the sequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, Mad Max: The Wasteland.

Lin Shaye has been in countless horror films, most of her roles are supporting roles, but her talent can be eclipsed by none. She can transition from comedy to horror without skipping a beat. Her resume includes some pretty big horror films including Alone In the Dark, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Critters, Critters 2, My Demon Lover, Amityville: A New Generation, New Nightmare, Contagion, The Hillside Strangler, Snakes on a Plane, 2001 Maniacs opposite Robert Englund, 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams opposite Bill Moseley, Chillerama, Lost Time opposite Derek Mears and Ouija. She is best known however for her role as Elise Rainer in the Insidious films. She can be found in the upcoming films Helen Keller vs Nightwolves and Tales of Halloween.
