We all have to admit, it's been forever since we saw The Riddler as a main antagonist in a Batman movie. 20 years since the release of Batman Forever, with ever ecstatic Jim Carrey in the role of the Riddling Wacko, and after quite a bit of criticism, Riddler was almost completely forgotten until the release of Batman: Arkham Asylum, where he annoyed players with his endless wave of Riddler Trophies to find , and Arkham City, where he had an entire side mission to himself, where the player would locate and rescue numerous hostages across the Super Prison Complex, known as Arkham City. The player would then locate The Riddler and take him down. And we all had that moment of frustration getting the trophies to do so.

The Arkham series was a blast, but now that it's over, it's time to look to the future of The Riddler.

In the Nolan Trilogy, we saw Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Joker, Two-Face, Bane, and Catwoman, and soon we will see The Joker for "SUICIDE SQUAD". But honestly? Why use Joker again? I urge you all, stop dancing around using The Riddler. Especially when there is so much that can be done. The Riddler is one of the most realistic Batman villains. There's nothing super powered about him. He's a genius, determined to prove his vast intellect to the world, but in doing so, driving himself over the edge. C'mon, why can't they work with this? I've practically given them part of the plot right here!

I think we all can agree, we don't want another Jim Carrey. We need something dark, like the Arkham Series. But give us something! Something that would put Nigma back on top as a lead villain. If they'd like to do a team up, here are my candidates.

RIDDLER AND SCARECROW

RIDDLER AND MR FREEZE

RIDDLER AND JOKER

RIDDLER AND BLACK MASK

RIDDLER AND PENGUIN

You see here a number of different team ups that would be a great struggle for the Dark Knight Detective. If you noticed in the Nolan Trilogy, Batman was hardly a Detective at all, just a vigilante. Who better to test his detective skills than The King of Conundrums???

So, Riddle Me This, Hollywood...

and Riddle Me That....

Why can't The Riddler be in a movie with the Big Bad Bat???
