Out of all of the nightmarish evil clowns, are there any more twisted and terrifying than Pennywise? Played to devilish perfection by Tim Curry in the 1990 movie IT, it's hard to imagine Pennywise any other way.

The upcoming reboot, however, may be looking to turn that all on its head. Vincenzo Natali, an art director who pitched his concepts for the IT reboot, shared an idea of what kind of terrifying designs we might be seeing for the new Pennywise. Natalie tweeted the following designs, but also added the caveat 'Pitch Imperfect', suggesting his designs were not accepted.

However, it still suggests the team behind the IT reboot - which recently cast Bill Skarsgard in the role of Pennywise - are potentially looking for some new designs for everyone's favorite deadly clown. Check out Natalie's work below:

Tumescent Pennywise

Some gnarly looking growth resting on his fluffy ruff? Nice.

Medusa Pennywise

Oh, he looked so friendly from the front...

Dental Neglect Pennywise

Definite Twisty vibes here, this is a design with TEETH.

Hideous Nightmare Face Pennywise

My clown has no nose. How does he smell? Terrible!
