A crossover of the most unimaginable sort happened yesterday, comic book movie fans. Okay, so maybe it wasn't a real crossover, but the Marvel and DC worlds collided for a day when newly-appointed Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, took a trip to Toronto and visited the set of Suicide Squad.

The young actor was presumably in Toronto to finish up filming Backcountry, and stopped by the Suicide Squad set to say hi to fellow Backcountry cast member Joel Kinnaman, who is playing Rick Flagg in the DC team-up.

While there, he posed for a rather un-Spidey-like photo with Kinnaman and actor Kevin Vance.

That looks more like a photo you'd see Deadpool taking.

But one thing we can gather from this is that Holland must be finished shooting his Spider-Man cameo for [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409), which means we're one step closer to seeing the first footage from the film (probably at Disney's D23 expo).

See, Marvel and DC fans. If actors from both sides can hang out and respect each other equally, then so can you.
