To me the first Thor wasnt as good as I expected. I really dont know much about movies but just to me personally it didnt intrigue me until the fight with Loki at the end, but the fight with Destroyer wasnt what I expected, it did not establish Destroyer as much of a threat. So with that being said that is why the first Thor landed #12 on my personal list.
11. The Incredible Hulk
Unlike Thor, The Incredible Hulk was a pretty decent movie. I personally wanted an origin story, but we cant always get what we want. This movie did a good job on the fight scenes, specifically the one at the end it was so violent and brutal I LOVED IT. Also Edward Norton did a great job but not as good as Mark Ruffalo is now so sorry Edward youre forgotten. This movie had a great supporting cast so that is why this movie is #11. The reason why this movie is so low because all the other movies ahead of this were better obviously.
10. Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 was a pretty good movie for the most part except for the terrible twist on the Mandarin at the end which killed it for me. It got all hyped up for no reason just to find out the Mandarin was an actor the whole time and the real Mandarin is out there somewhere. Im still waiting to find out where the he is. I think they also set up a young avenger in the process of that movie. Harley Keener, the young boy who found Iron Man in his garage, could possibly be playing the Iron Lad as soon as phase 4 rolls around. This movie was better than Hulk and Thor so that earns a #10 from me.
9. Iron Man
The movie that kicked the MCU into what it is now and the first of the Iron Man trilogy. It did a good job of the origin story and the whole movie overall. This makes #9 on my list.
8. Iron Man 2
My favorite Iron Man movie of all as we got to see the introduction to Black Widow and War Machine in action and also we got more involved with SHIELD. Mickey Rourke as Whiplash was amazing, they made him look badass and really the only real threat to Iron Man out the three villains he has faced in 1 and 3. This lands #8 on my list.
7. Captain America: The First Avenger
This movie sticks #7. At one point this was my favorite MCU film until Avengers 1 came out but that doesnt matter. This movie took us back in time to the very first Avenger, hence the name. I loved the fight scenes, I felt the the build up to finally see Cap got dragged out not too much, but just a little farther than it shouldve. Not the best film but very good and better than more than half of phase 1.
6. Thor: The Dark World
Pretty good movie. This movie definitely triumphs the first one. Thor and Janes relationship was explored more but too much, I didnt want to see Thor dealing with a love interest while Asgard and Earth is in danger. I wanna see Thor kick some dark elves ass. Malektih was a pretty good villain and at some times it felt as if he was going to win the battle. This also dove more in the different realms. So this is #6 on my list.
Ant-Man? Yes, Ant-Man the #5 movie on my list. This movie exceeded my expectations by far. Paul Rudd did a fantastic job as Ant-Man/Scott Lang. As well as the supporting cast, round of applause for all. By no means was this movie perfect but a great origin story for Scott Lang side of Ant-Man. This movie definently had its flaws but the easter eggs, laughs, action, emotional relationships definently made it a great film. It also contains several important keys to phase 3 and beyond.
4. Avengers 2: Age of Ultron
Man this movie was highly anticipated and lived up to the hype. Solid movie from beginning to end. From the Twins, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff (Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver) to Wakanda to the very ending with the New Avengers forming. Ultron was a huge threat to the team. With the additions of Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision was a huge bonus to the already stacked superhero team. But the death of Quicksilver was devastating. Hopefully, he will be brought back to life sometime in the future. Due to another wonderful performance of the Avengers, they earn a #4 on my list.
This first Avengers movie was exciting and filled with nostalgia, specifically at the end when they all fought together and not against each other. Loki was a great villain as he proved to be in the previous Thor. As a reward to Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Agent Coulson of Shield their vision of superheroes teaming up earns a #3 spot.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
Where to start? This movies deserves #2 because it is so not your type of Marvel movie we have been known to watch but definently broke the mold of how a superhero movie should be. Not your typical team up. A human, a green girl, some guy with tattoos all over his body, a talking raccoon and a tree. How weird is that? In all seriousness, it is a movie to be taken for real, the fight scenes are excellent, the dialogue is good and soundtrack is the best out of any movie ever.
1. Captain America: The Winter Solider
This movie definently deserves the top spot. This movie was just absoultely amazing blew my mind. Just Amazing! Amazing!Amazing! Theres nothing bad to say about this movie. Marvel really nailed it with this movie.
