I did not make and/or create this recipe, all I know is that my Grandmother made them from a recipe off the web and they are AMAZING! And sorta easy to make, so I thought I would share the recipe with everyone else!(This is not the original recipe it is just what we have changed and modified and it tasted better to us)

Recipe For Oreo Balls

(1 batch, if you want to make more than one then double the steps)

Ingredients:

-3 Sleeves of Oreo's

-Cooking Wax

-Semi Sweet Nestle Chocolate (20 oz maybe more maybe less)

-1 pack of Original Cream Cheese

-Vanilla

-Parchment Paper

-Empty Fridge Space

-Tooth Picks

-Cookie Sheets

-Double Boiler (Not needed but makes it easier)

-Blender

Steps:

1:Take Oreo's and blend them into a fine powder

2:Take the entire bar of cream cheese and put it in there, and mix it(Using your hands is a lot easier)

3:Put a half teaspoon of vanilla in the mix

4:Mix it up (Until it is easy to mix,shines and there is no white)

5:Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

6:Set up 2 cookie sheets and put parchment paper on them

7:(Set the balls on the cookie sheets)Remove from fridge and roll into little balls (Try to make it not to big but not to small either, and make sure there are about the same size, You can eat the mess ups. ;) )

8:Refrigerate for at least 30 min (Don't have anything on top of them except one layer of parchment paper)

9:(If you have a double boiler...if you don't, I guess just keep stirring the chocolate frequently and on low heat)Melt the chocolate and cut off some of the flax and put it in there and keep stirring until all the chocolate is melted and it has a nice shine to it.

10:Take the balls out of the fridge and use the toothpicks to dip the oreos in the chocolate

11:Before the chocolate hardens get a spoon and use it to drizzle the remaining chocolate on the balls

12:Let the chocolate harden (Takes about 10-15 mins)

13:Take some tupperware and place the balls in there(Once the bottom is filled take some parchment paper and put it over the balls and repeat until they have all been stored)

14:Refrigerate for about 45-60 mins

15:Enjoy ;)
