Though it feels like suicide squad is just around the corner, the sad truth is that we will have to wait until august 2016 to see Task force X AKA The suicide squad hit the big screen. But while we're waiting, it would only make sense to have a little fun with the idea of the supervillain team comprised of Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Deadshot, Slipknot, Amanda Waller, Enchantress, El Diablo, Rick Flag, Katana, Captain Boomerang, And a very honorable mention, The Joker.

But if there were a suicide squad in the marvel universe, who would make the cut.

note: This is the movie suicide squad, which doesn't include: Bronze Tiger, Count Vertigo, Doctor Light, Duchess, Jewelee, Nemesis,Nightshade, Oracle (Barbara Gordon), Poison Ivy, Punch, Ravan, Shade, Thinker, and Vixen among countless others Which are included in the comic.

Deadpool as Deadshot
Deadpool as Deadshot

DC: Floyd Lawton AKA Deadshot is often a hired assassin, regularly boasting to "never miss." He is capable of using a large variety of weapons, but is most frequently portrayed as using a pair of silenced, wrist-mounted guns. He has been a major figure in the Suicide Squad in its latest two incarnations, where his skills as a marksman and his disregard for human life serve to advance the group's objectives. Probably his most defining trait is a desire to die in a spectacular fashion, this being his primary motivation for joining the Squad. He feels he has no reason to continue living, and, while he does not want to commit suicide, he simply does not care if he dies.[3] Various reasons have been cited for this, but the most common thread in them is his parents' peculiar hatred for one another.

Marvel: Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool was a very successful and skilled mercenary until finding out that he had disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor. He is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his talkative nature and tendency to break the fourth wall, which is used by writers to humorous effect. Deadpool's brain cells are similarly affected, with dying neurons being rejuvenated at a super accelerated rate. This allows Deadpool to recover from any head wounds, and it renders him nearly invulnerable to psychic and telepathic powers, as the altered or damaged neurons quickly regenerate to their original state.

The Winter Soldier as Rick Flag

They worked side by side until Captain America and Bucky tried to stop the villainous Baron Zemo from destroying an experimental drone plane. Zemo launches the plane with an armed explosive device on it, with Rogers and Barnes in hot pursuit. They reach the plane just before it takes off. Bucky unsuccessfully tries to defuse the bomb, and it explodes in mid-air before reaching its intended target. He will be believed to have been killed in action.

After the plane explodes, General Vasily Karpov and the crew of a Russian patrol submarine find Bucky's cold-preserved body missing one arm. Bucky is revived in Moscow, but suffers brain damage with amnesia as a result of the explosion. Scientists attach a bionic arm, upgrading it as technology improves. Programmed to be a Soviet assassin for Department X – under the code name the Winter Soldier – he is sent on covert wetworks missions and becomes increasingly ruthless and efficient as he kills in the name of the state, eventually being confronted by captain america and regaining his memory.

Pyro as El Diablo

DC: Lazarus Lane is the original El Diablo, operating in the latter half of the 19th century in the American Old West. Lane was originally a bank teller who is nearly killed by a gang of thieves and put in a coma after being struck by lightning. After being revived by a Native American shaman named "Wise Owl", Lane becomes a vigilante and called himself El Diablo. The name El Diablo means "the devil" in Spanish. This is not the El Diablo in the suicide squad movie though. The EL Diablo in the movie is Chato Santana.

While attempting to collect on a debt owed by some local gang members, he had set fire to their building, and killed everyone inside. When he realized that there were innocent women and children who he had killed in the blaze, he went with the police quietly. While on death row at Belle Reve prison, his cell filled up with gas and he was implanted with a micro-bomb to insure his obedience. After undergoing torture to test his loyalty, El Diablo was officially inducted into Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad. He has the power of pyrokinesis and is very proficient with firearms.

Marvel: St. John Allerdyce a.k.a. Pyro is a mutant who possesses the power to psionically control fire and flame, though not generate it. Elektra as Katana
Elektra as Katana

DC:Tatsu Yamashiro was an average Japanese girl, save for her proficiency in the martial arts, a trait encouraged by her parents. Two brothers, Maseo and Takeo both proclaimed their love for her. She chose Maseo, Takeo did not take that well. After they were married and already had children, Takeo showed up to Maseo and Tatsu's home with two swords, one of which Takeo preferred for its mystical properties, demanding a duel for the prize of Tatsu. During the course of the struggle, a fire was started, and, while Maseo was distracted by his children, Takeo killed his brother with the sword which would become known as "Soultaker".

Tatsu arose just in time to see her husband die and engaged Takeo, gaining the upper hand and disarming him. Attempting to save her children, she heard her husband's voice coming from the sword, telling her they were already lost. Escaping with her life, she went to train as a samurai under the master known as Tadashi. After graduating from his tudorship, She took the codename Katana after the sword that she wielded, possessed for some time by the soul of her husband. She is a superb martial artist and a fully trained samurai warrior. The soultaker sword grants the ability to capture the soul of every being it kills and communicate with that soul, including that of her deceased husband.

Marvel: Elektra Natchios was born on a Greek island near the Aegean Sea to Hugo Natchios and his wife Christina Natchios. She had an older brother named Orestez Natchios. When a nine-year-old Elektra was assaulted by kidnappers, the men were all killed by Orestez, who had grown into an accomplished martial artist after leaving home. Orestez advised his father that Elektra needed to learn self-defense. Hugo hired a sensei to teach her the martial arts.

Hugo Natchios eventually served as a Greek ambassador to the United States. 19 year old Elektra attended Columbia University in New York city. There, Elektra began dating classmate Matt Murdock, whom eventually becomes Daredevil. A year later, Elektra and her father were kidnapped by terrorists. A rescue attempt by Matt went wrong, and Hugo was gunned down. She quit Columbia and returned to China to study martial arts. Stick, a member of the benevolent organization called the Chaste, recognized the darkness in her soul and attempted to train her himself, but she ultimately sided with the Hand, a sect of mystical ninja, who trained her as an assassin.

Bullseye as Slipknot
Bullseye as Slipknot

DC: Christopher Weiss AKA Slipknot works for a chemical company in the southern United States, where he develops his formula for the durable ropes he would later use. Weiss is sent to kill Firestorm. The villain Multiplex kidnaps Lorraine Reilly, AKA Firehawk. Firestorm defeats Slipknot and rescues Lorraine. Slipknot would later join with other villains, such as Multiplex, who all attack Firestorm. This leaves Slipknot in police custody, where he comes into contact with the suicide squad. He also has mastery of ropes and assassin training.

Marvel: Bullseye is very similar to deadshot and hawkeye. Although he possesses no superpowers, Bullseye is able to use almost any object as a lethal projectile, be it weapons like shuriken and sai or seemingly harmless objects like playing cards and pencils. His marksmanship is uncanny, at a nearly preternatural level, but he has been known to miss moving targets.

Boomerang as Captain Boomerang
Boomerang as Captain Boomerang

There is a boomerang themed villain in both Marvel and DC comic universes, so its only fitting that I set them equal to each other in this fantasy team-up.

DC: George "Digger" Harkness AKA Captain Boomerang is an enemy of both Barry Allen and Wally West, who each holds the heroic mantle of the Flash. After Harkness is killed during the 2004 crossover Identity Crisis, his son, Owen Mercer (also known as Owen Harkness), take over his father's mantle for a period of time until his death.

Harkness was raised in an Australian town called Korumburra in poverty, during which time he developed great skill in making boomerangs, and in using them as weapons. Although he lacked any actual talent, he became a recurring enemy of the Flash , typically by devising altered boomerangs which could produce astonishing effects (some would explode, others had razor-sharp edges, etc.), and using them ruthlessly. He became a member of the Rogues, a group of villains dedicated to opposing Flash, and were first organized after Gorilla Grodd broke them out of jail. Though captured when Flash made their weapons hit each other, they continued to act together.

Later on, Harkness became a less than effective member of the Suicide Squad in exchange for being pardoned for his crimes. However, Captain Boomerang's grating personality and blatant racism caused considerable friction among his teammates, and he was considered to be a dangerous, vicious, cowardly and undependable member of the team. Dysfunctional even by the Squad's standards and the equivalent of a class clown.

Marvel: Frederick "Fred" Myers AKA Boomerang was born in Alice springs, Australia and was raised in the United States. As a child he developed a love for baseball, and spent years training and perfecting his pitching arm. By the time he was a Teenager, Fred had realized his dream of pitching for a major league team. However, he foolishly began accepting bribes, and was kicked out of the major leagues after being discovered. Shortly thereafter, Myers was contacted by the Secret Empire, an international criminal organization that saw the potential of his skills. Myers agreed and was given a new costume and an arsenal of deadly boomerangs, from which he derived his new codename.

He is a World-class baseball pitcher, Skilled marksman and street fighter. He can take Flight via jet boots but Boomerang's most dangerous asset is, naturally, his arsenal of specialized boomerangs designed by Justin Hammer. He has modified and improved on them over the years, but the most common ones are exploding "shatterangs" (with enough explosive power to destroy an automobile), "gasarangs" that release large doses of tear gas to disable a target, razor-bladed "razorangs", sonic blasting "screamerangs", and whirling "bladarangs" which cut like buzzsaw blades.

Finally, last but certainly not least

The Green Goblin as The Joker
The Green Goblin as The Joker

DC: There is alot to say about good 'ol Mr. J. The Joker's real name and identity are still but a mystery, though that didnt stop him from becoming one of the most iconic characters in popular culture, the Joker has been cited as one of the greatest comic book villains and fictional characters ever created.

The Joker possesses no superhuman abilities, instead using his expertise in chemical engineering to develop poisonous or lethal concoctions, and thematic weaponry, including razor-tipped playing cards, deadly joy buzzers, and acid-spraying lapel flowers. Although the Joker sometimes works with other supervillains such as the Penguin and Two-Face, and groups like the Injustice Gang and Injustice League, these relationships often collapse due to the Joker's desire for unbridled chaos. He is proven to be just as smart and at times even smarter than the Batman.

note: Though the Joker is not and has never been in the suicide squad, he always finds a way to play an important part.

Marvel: Green Goblin is Spider-man's Arch-enemy working under several alias' the most famous being Harry and Norman Osborne(father and son). Norman Osborn is the main character connected with the alias who developed the equipment used by the other Green Goblins ever since he was exposed to the Goblin Formula.

Harry Osborn, Norman Osborn's son, becomes the second Green Goblin. After being defeated and placed under the care of Dr. Bart Hamilton, Harry while under hypnosis reveals many Green Goblin secrets and Hamilton decides to become the third Green Goblin. Harry recovers and fights Hamilton until an explosion renders Harry amnesiac of his time as the Green Goblin and kills Hamilton.Years later, Harry's memories return and he uses a new stronger Goblin serum to augment his power, but dies from it. Harry would later return thanks to the machinations of Mephisto in "One More Day".

The Green Goblin is armed with a variety of bizarre devices. He travels on his bat-shaped "Goblin Glider", an incredibly fast and maneuverable rocket glider equipped with various armaments. Other weapons the Goblin uses include incendiary Pumpkin Bombs, smoke- and gas-emitting grenades resembling ghosts and jack-'o'-lanterns, razor-edged boomerang-like throwing weapons called razor bats and gloves woven with micro-circuited filaments which channel pulsed discharges of electricity at nearly 10,000 volts. He wears a green costume underneath bulletproof chainmail with an overlapping purple tunic. His mask has a built-in gas filter to keep him safe from his own gasses.

But hey, thats just my take on who it would be. I wanna know what everybody else thinks. I made this to make everyone even more excited to see "suicide squad", I hope i reached my goal!!!!!! (:
