At one point or another we’ve all seen THAT guy at the gym. The one with his shirt lifted to his neck, his other arm reaching out towards the heavens holding an iPhone with the front facing camera locked in on his abdominal region. Then you hear the camera shutter - ‘KA-CHICK’.. "By god, he’s done it". Well, it was an instance such as this that inspired digital artist Mohit Suneja, to put one of his favourite superheroes under the #selfie spotlight. Both the story behind the art and the final piece are equally hilarious. Check it out, enjoy, and step your selfie game up!! (*KA-CHICK*) “it’s the film that’s lacking, not themselves or their understanding."

"We’re interested in seeing villains we haven’t seen before.” With these simple words, Kevin Feige launched a tidal wave of fanboy speculation as to which villain will be facing off against Tom Holland in the latest Spider-man reboot. In this honest and thoughtful article, Josh Bradley raises an incredibly important question if you consider yourself fan of movies, or any art for for that matter -“Does my opinion actually mean anything?” Exploring the inherent nature of judgement and subjectivity, Josh raises some great questions not only about the ways in which we judge films ourselves, but how we respond and react to the praises and critiques of others. If someone gives a film a bad critique, then “it’s the film that’s lacking, not themselves or their understanding.” Whether you’re a writer, film maker or just a casual movie goer what Josh is talking about is something we’ve all dealt with at some point or another. Check out the full article here and feel free to weigh in on the conversation!
The discussion surrounding X-Men: Apocalypse hasn't been overwhelmingly positive, to say the least. Over the years DC Comics have proven that they are more than capable of producing awesome superheroes. Be sure to check out his incredible fan art pieces.
Despite the ever increasing catalogue of zombie films being released, the catastrophic outbreak seems to only occur in the US of A. Perhaps it's the easy access to firearms or (more likely) the proximity of the studio making the movie. Australian filmmaker, Dan Sanguineti has attempted to curb this trend with his zombie film set a working class suburb Down Under. Made on a budget of only one million dollars and over four years, it's a true labour of love by a talented team. Check out the trailer and get a load of zombies, Southern Hemisphere style!
X-Men is one of my all-time favorite comic book franchises and so I'm not the least bit biased (okay, maybe I am) when I say that this fan art, created by Moviepilot Creator Богдан Тимченко, is as good as it gets. Using his own unique artistic style, Богдан has created X-Men pieces that are both intense and creative, as well as downright fantastic. Don't forget to check out his post!
