Creating UI For Avengers: Age of Ultron

Having worked on Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Moviepilot Creator known as TERRITORY gives us a behind-the-scenes look at their contributions to Marvel's recent on-screen adventures. This is an unmissable post for all Marvel fans!

EPIC Batman Selfie

At one point or another we’ve all seen THAT guy at the gym. The one with his shirt lifted to his neck, his other arm reaching out towards the heavens holding an iPhone with the front facing camera locked in on his abdominal region. Then you hear the camera shutter - ‘KA-CHICK’.. "By god, he’s done it". Well, it was an instance such as this that inspired digital artist Mohit Suneja, to put one of his favourite superheroes under the spotlight. Both the story behind the art and the final piece are equally hilarious. Check it out, enjoy, and step your selfie game up!! (*KA-CHICK*) “it’s the film that’s lacking, not themselves or their understanding."

Which (modern) Horror Comedy Do You Belong In?

Rarely do two genres crossover quite so well as horror comedy, where we have the pleasure of laughing and being terrified at the same time. With Megan Warteman's first ever quiz on the platform, you can discover which of the many hybrid horror comedies you belong to!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3's Expansion Upon Inhumans

Marvel superfan Marcus Hughes blew us all away this week with his first post - an epic post on the potential of the third season of Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. and it's introduction of the Inhumans to the TV universe. Strap your self in for some heavy duty Marvel lore exploration and show some love to this mammoth article!

Who Will Spider-Man Battle In Marvel's Reboot?

"We’re interested in seeing villains we haven’t seen before.” With these simple words, Kevin Feige launched a tidal wave of fanboy speculation as to which villain will be facing off against Tom Holland in the latest Spider-man reboot. This list by new Creator Bobby Anhalt brings together some of the best and most persuasive suggestions. Mysterio 2017!

Bergman, Bros, and Boyhood: When Your Opinion No Longer Matters

In this honest and thoughtful article, Josh Bradley raises an incredibly important question if you consider yourself fan of movies, or any art for for that matter -“Does my opinion actually mean anything?” Exploring the inherent nature of judgement and subjectivity, Josh raises some great questions not only about the ways in which we judge films ourselves, but how we respond and react to the praises and critiques of others. If someone gives a film a bad critique, then “it’s the film that’s lacking, not themselves or their understanding.” Whether you’re a writer, film maker or just a casual movie goer what Josh is talking about is something we’ve all dealt with at some point or another. Check out the full article here and feel free to weigh in on the conversation!

The discussion surrounding X-Men: Apocalypse hasn't been overwhelmingly positive, to say the least. But, regardless of what you think about the Apocalypse costume *cough*it's not the finished product*cough*, we can all still agree that this fan art, featuring the featuring the more-established movie characters, is a visual treat.

The World's Finest - The Heroes of DC Comics

Over the years DC Comics have proven that they are more than capable of producing awesome superheroes. These iconic characters continue to inspire and entertain fans all over the world, and so new MP Creator Vassilis Dimitros decided it was time for him to pay tribute to his favorite heroes in his own creative manner. Be sure to check out his incredible fan art pieces.

Me And My Mates Vs. The Zombie Apocalypse

Despite the ever increasing catalogue of zombie films being released, the catastrophic outbreak seems to only occur in the US of A. Perhaps it's the easy access to firearms or (more likely) the proximity of the studio making the movie. Australian filmmaker, Dan Sanguineti has attempted to curb this trend with his zombie film set a working class suburb Down Under. Made on a budget of only one million dollars and over four years, it's a true labour of love by a talented team. Check out the trailer and get a load of zombies, Southern Hemisphere style!

X-Men Comic Fan Art

X-Men is one of my all-time favorite comic book franchises and so I'm not the least bit biased (okay, maybe I am) when I say that this fan art, created by Moviepilot Creator Богдан Тимченко, is as good as it gets. Using his own unique artistic style, Богдан has created X-Men pieces that are both intense and creative, as well as downright fantastic. Don't forget to check out his post!

Well, that's it for this week guys. Keep up the fantastic work, and have a great weekend!
