We are halfway through the year, and so many great movies have already been released. A few of my favorite movies have been Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, and Inside Out. I know, interesting last choice. As I have grown older, I have found out that I love a good action movie. However, Disney/Pixar movies will always hold a spot in my heart since that is what I grew up with, and Inside Out was a great movie.

Even though these and many more have come out, there are still a few movies out there that I just can't wait to see! These are the top five that have me on the edge of my seat.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (July 31)

I can't wait to see this plane scene in detail!
I can't wait to see this plane scene in detail!

Like the others, this movie promises action. Tom Cruise, along with actors Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg, are now set loose and on their own mission in the new installment Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. This mission? To stop the Syndicate from killing them.

I am really excited about this movie! I loved Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, and I have enjoyed most of the Tom Cruise movies I have seen. The stunts were enough to make me hold my breath, and from the trailer below, it looks like we will get that again.

I also love the humor that Simon Pegg brings. He is my favorite actor in the new Star Trek franchise and he was also great in Ghost Protocol. I am excited that he is returning in this next movie! All in all, this movie is definitely on my list of 'must-sees'.

Fantastic Four (August 7)

Coming to theaters in just a few weeks, the new movie about four young scientists off to save the world hopes to blow its predecessor out of the galaxy. I'm skeptical, but after seeing what they were able to do with X-Men: Days of Future Past, I do believe there is hope for the new Fantastic 4.

They are using an interesting take this time, choosing younger actors than before. The storyline also looks like it will be a huge improvement over the last time this movie was made.

This is why Fantastic 4 is on my list. Instead of being a bit of a joke, it looks like it has the potential to rival some of the other superhero movies made today.

The Peanuts Movie (November 6)

It may seem ridiculous, but there is a reason for The Peanuts Movie being in my list. Not only does it promise a cute and fun movie for your whole family to watch, but this one has another aspect that adds to my excitement!

In the story, Charlie Brown wants to be different. He wants to change his accident prone ways and start anew. During this process, he meets the new girl.

Over the past few months of our relationship, my boyfriend has started calling me his 'little redhead girl'. This is the new girl Charlie Brown is falling for in this preview:

That is why I can't wait for this movie!! I was so excited to see that the storyline included Charlie Brown's crush and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Mockingjay Part 2 (November 20)

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is the final installment of the Hunger Games Trilogy. Katniss Everdeen marches to the Capital, ready to destroy the force that has troubled the Districts long enough.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure I'm ready. Anyone who has read the books can tell you that this last movie is going to be intense and epic. The new trailer, just released today, shows us that they are sticking close to the book storyline.

Since they are sticking at least close to the original storyline, I think we can expect this movie to blow our socks off, and have us leaving the theater in shock. That sounds like a bad thing, but in this case I believe it will be amazing.

Star Wars Episode VII (December 18)

In Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, we see new friends and old friends. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Leia return to help a new Jedi. Being a fan of the originals, I was a bit worried that it was going to be a horrible repeat of the prequels. These were my thoughts when it was first announced that there was going to be another movie. I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

However, watching the trailer and trusting director J.J. Abrams, I think that this movie will be better than previously thought.

My favorite part of this preview is the end. Harrison Ford has always been one of my favorite actors and to see him return made me squeal in excitement! I wasn't the only one in that theater to do so. I know what I'm asking someone to give me for Christmas. (*cough* Hint-hint *cough*)

There are other movies coming out in the remainder of this year, but these are the few that I just really can't wait for! Here is a list of 2015's movies.
