Fact: The Global Box Office Projections for the 3rd trilogy of the Star Wars series is supposed to be on par if not higher than Avatar (2009).

As word has already spread through the interweb ether, it is no shock that Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford would be making a significant debut for The Revenge Awakens set to air December of 2015. Additionally, it has been reported that Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher have started on diet program for the movie. The film is supposed to arrive 30 years after Revenge of the Jedi. Some new leads to play in the movie include Finn, Rey, and Poe Dameron.

Most of the movie will be shot in real locations removing any chance of green screen as humanly possible. Furthermore, the camera shots are being made on an original 35 mm camera as to mix the old with the new. Disney released a 90-second teaser trailer to promote the movie in cinemas across United States and Canada, also releasing on Youtube and iTunes store. After just 1-week, the video generated 58.2 million views worldwide. The trailer was so wide spread that it appeased every age range.

So here are the numbers as of now. The estimated budget of the movie is $200 million ($23 million including all the marketing, distribution, printing, and advertising costs). Without a blink, the movie is projected to be a box office hit generating an easy cool $1 billion. ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ reported that a $540 million worldwide opening could be possible, which would break the biggest worldwide opening now held by Jurassic World with 524.1 million set June 2015. If the movie is done right, which every speculation seems so, could generate over $2 billion and even surpass Avatar (2009).

Possible Plot and Future:

Not much has been revealed towards the plot of The Revenge Awakens and they are keeping quite the close net around it. Here are some of the rumors circulating the world wide ethers that due to the massive appeal of the Star Wars franchise, the series will NOT end with episode XI.
