2015 has been one of the best years for movies in quite some time. Last Summer the Box Office was a bit of a let down and so far this year has been great. Jurassic World was deemed the third highest grossing film ever and that's not even the tip of great movies we've seen! From heart-warming animations of Minions and Inside Out to colossal blockbusters like Ant-Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mad Max, Terminator Genesis, etc! So many good flicks. We're more than half way in and we still got lots left. Lets delve in to whats there!

Fantastic Four - August 6th

Marvel has had a nice year so far with Ant-Man and Avengers 2 and it's time for the guys at Fox/Marvel to intervene with the reboot of Marvels first superhero family! Going for an Interstellar-esque dark sci-fi vibe with the four, it's no question that it looks intriguing.. I'm expecting it to be fun and cool but more setting up for sequels and maybe an X-Men crossover! Here's hoping! Expecting - 7.6/10

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - August 14th

Hollywood has been going through a bit of a Spy/Espionage phase as of late with the release of: Kingsman, Spy, Mission Impossible 5, Hitman, Spectre, etc! The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is no exception! Looking more grounded that Kinsgman yet more fun than Spectre. With Henry Cavill doing his first big role since portraying Superman it will be nice to get some range from the British actor in this suave, charming flick. Expecting - 7.4/10

Hitman: Agent 47 - August 27th

Staying on the tone of stealth, enter Hitman: Agent 47. The movie that was scheduled for a February release is now gracing our screens in late August. I'm on board if it aids to the quality of the movie! I was skeptical at first viewing of the trailer because I adore the games and I'm still a bit worried that they may have ditched his signature stealth for bombs and explosions. Maybe they're trying to sell the trailer? I don't know, I'll see it the day it's out for sure! Expectations - 7.2

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl - September 4th

Time for a little break from the blockbusters because I'm a bit of an indie fan at heart.. This movie is getting rave reviews that follows Greg (Thomas Mann) who befriends Rachel (Olivia Cooke) who is diagnosed with cancer. This is not you're Fault In Our Stars love story, but rather a story about friendship and I'm totally psyched and ready for the tear-tissues. Expectations - 8.1

Everest - September 25th

This beautiful epic is surely one of the dark horses of 2015. The woefully underrated Jake Gyllenhaal stars with an amazing ensemble that follows the true story of a climbing expedition that goes wrong after a severe snow storm. Also stars Jason Clarke, Kiera Knightley, Robin Wright, Josh Brolin and Michael Kelly. Be sure to see this one! Expectations - 8.0/10

The Martian - September 30th

The Ridley Scott directed epic is a sure bet for a great movie. Amazing cast in the form of Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wigg, Kate Mara and Donald Glover. This sci-fi follows Matt Damon's character (Mark) who has landed on Mars thought to have been dead. He must try survive on Mars while trying to contact NASA back at Earth. It will be beautiful, intense and a overall cinema experience! Expectation - 8.6/10

The Intern - October 2nd

There hasn't been a lot of hype for this indie/comedy as of yet but after watching the trailer I really think this could be one of the best comedies of the year! It's good to see Robert De Niro back for a role that isn't for the retirement fund! It follows De Niro's character as a widower who has discovered that retirement is all that great. He becomes an intern for a fashion site run by Anne Hathaway's character Jules Ostin. Watch the trailer because it looks great! Expectation - 7.5/10

Pan - October 16th

Personally, I'm gaining a fatigue from these remakes of classic movies such as: Cinderella, Maleficent, Oz, etc! But the trailer for this one looks quite good! Hugh Jackman looks perfectly cast and the visuals look quite nice! Nice family one for October. Expectation - 6.6/10

Spectre - October 26th

Bond is back in action for his 24th movie and looks better than ever. Director Sam Mendes says it's his last Bond and I really hope not because this movie looks insanely good! Have you seen the trailer? If not, check it out because it looks seriously good. The girls, gadgets, music and fighting is in full flow here, don't miss it. Expectation - 8.6/10

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 - November 20th

Katniss Everdeen is back for her final installment, which could be good or bad depending on how you feel on the franchise. Personally I'm happy it's coming to a close.. I mean I've really enjoyed the movies, but it's time for closure. Part one was slow but decent. I feel this movie will bring the action big time and show us the ending we've been waiting for! I've no idea what to expect! Expectation - 7.7/10

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - December 18th

I know what you're thinking... All those amazing movies this year and yet to come and we STILL have a freakin' Star Wars?! Enter the colossal movie of 2015, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This movie has the anticipation of nearly all of 2015's movies put together! (Almost..). Anyway, will this movie pass out the likes of Jurassic World or Avengers 2? It's tough to say. We'll see come Christmas time. Expectation - 9.2/10
