We often express with pride, that cartoons and anime have shaped our childhood. Gone are those days where we used to fight with our siblings to watch our favorite shows, but still live on in our memory. Here is a list of anime shows we miss:

4. Digimon

The story focuses on Digimon creatures, which are monsters living in a "Digital World", a parallel universe that originated from Earth's various communication networks. As kids we used to get pretty excited about all the Digimon evolutions where a Digimon gets upgraded to awesome powerful forms, for the sake of fighting other bad ones.

3. Dragon Ball Z:

Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z are all time favorites among kids. The story revolves around seven dragon balls, which give rise to a wish granting dragon. Also many characters are awesome fighters that fight villains throughout the series. The evolution of the Super Saiyan was one of the most popular aspects of the show.

2. Naruto:

It is hard to find words to describe this epic. It is focused on the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. I was absolutely distraught when this show ended and I hope "Naruto: Gaiden" continues the legacy of the show.

1. Pokemon:

There are absolutely no anime fans, who didn't know about Pokemon. The series centered on fictional creatures called "Pokemon", which humans captured and trained to fight each other for sport. With numerous seasons launched, Pokemon never ceased to amaze us.

These are the anime which shaped our childhood and made it awesome.
