BEFORE THE MOVIE: I am a huge video game nerd. I love all of those classic games like Galaga, Space Invaders, Pac-Man and DONKEY KONG. I am also a HUGE fan of director Chris Columbus. He wrote and directed classics such as, THE GOONIES (Writer), GREMLINS (Writer). He also directed MRS.DOUBTFIRE and the FIRST TWO HOME ALONE MOVIES (AND THE FIRST TWO HARRY POTTERS). So I'M REALLLY LOOKING FORWARD to watch this movie, and in IMAX 3D! IT LOOKS AWESOME! But adam sandler.......oh well!

AFTER THE MOVIE: Ok......now before you say anything, most of the points attributed in the movie are the amazing visual effects and 3D quality and IMAX 3D experience.

Yes. The visual effects are INCREDIBLE! Everything that's getting destroyed is all pixelated. It's so well done, and I'm predicting a LOCK for BEST VISUAL EFFECTS at the 2016 ACADEMY AWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This, and SAN ANDREAS are locks. ALSO, the movie has the best 3D I've seen this year. It's so immersive and inventive and is best seen in IMAX 3D. I highly recommend it, it uses 3D properly and feels like director Chris Columbus had a vision for it. The movie SCORES at VISUAL EFFECTS and deserves AT LEAST 3 STARS. IT'S THAT GOOOOOOD!!!!

Also, the movie has an AMAZING soundtrack with AMAZING 80s songs! The film also have some genuinely funny moments, including Josh Gad's character (Especially one LAUGH OUT LOUD moment).

For the negative parts, Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage are HORRIBLE! Their lines aren't funny at all, and reminded me of a certain 2011 film by Happy Madison that "shall not be named". Some of the humor is dry and unfunny and quite offensive. Only a couple of humorous moments work, but not a lot. And the thing I hated the MOST about this movie is YOU CAST SEAN BEAN IN A MOVIE AND YOU DON'T KILL HIM OFF? That's very very "Risqué". Oh well! I still recommend it and stay for the MID CREDITS-SCENE! There is nothing at the end though.

SEE IT!
