In the wake of Comic-Con, The X-Files reboot has started to slowly ramp up (or rather, start) its promotion leading up to the series release this January. Last week, we got our very first look at it with a teaser, and this week, Dean Haglund confirmed that the Lone Gunmen would be returning.

Today, Fox released another teaser. It's as short as the first one, but it features Mulder and Scully and has a few lines of dialogue.

You get giddy just looking at them teamed up again, don't you? Though I have to say, it would have been even better had Scully responded to Mulder's question of whether or not she's ready with, "Gee, I dunno, Mulder. I've been kidnapped by an escaped mental patient, had a microchip implanted in me, almost died from cancer, and maybe experienced immaculate conception. Oh and also, my kid has freaky mind powers, so what do you think?"

But I'll take it. I don't get excited for many revivals with a decade-long gap in between that often, but when I do, I make sure it's The X-Files.

The series premiere of The X-Files will air on Sunday night just after the NFC Championship Game on January 24th with the second episode airing the next day in what will be its regular timeslot on Monday, January 25th at 8pm ET/PT.

Are you pumped about the X-Files revival?
