Ever since Avengers, I've started following the MCU. Most of my posts will be MCU-Related, with a few exceptions. Comic book nerd/debater.

Ever since Avengers, the MCU has taken on a real Galactic theme. Not many can possibly say that ever since Thanos showed up in the credit-scene things have been quite a bit weird. In Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avengers and The Incredible Hulk we have what may or may not seem like origin stories, which in a sense they are. For the the most part they are like their comic counterparts, same villains and origins etc. This goes into Avengers. As a hardcore MCU fan, I can't tell you how amazing this movie was for superhero comic book fans. It changed superhero movies forever! This was one of the first super hero team-ups on the big screen! Without a doubt also one of the greatest.

Here we've got the Living Legend, the Prince of Thunder, the Armored Avenger, the Brute, the Spy, and the Archer. We then have Nick Fury, THE Spy, who's secrets have secrets. Maria Hill, whom will probably have a big role in Cap 3, the trainee and Coulson, the glue that brought all this together. We had Loki! The Prince of Lies, we had the army. Oh so many good memories! They came together and took out the portal. From there:

Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy! This was an amazing Phase 2. With Iron Man 3 and Cap 2 we saw the traumatizing events of the 'New York.' With Thor 2, we saw how big the MCU really was. Going in between some of the 9 realms, facing more and more Infinity Stone bad-boys. I'll be writing more about the Infinity Stones in another post, and if I get good reception off of this post. Let's move on: Guardians is where things got real. There's a galaxy out there. A whole universe! It needs protection! There's so many cosmic beings, and then there's Thanos! We got Adam Warlock's cocoon and we got Howard the Duck. Good times, good times indeed. It's all cosmic, it's all out there.

Below is small talk about [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035) and Ant-Man. Do not read if you don't want 1 minor and 1 major spoiler.

Now to what the actual post is about: Captain America: Civil War. Let me talk a bit first about Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. In Age of Ultron, Stark creates something evil in the hopes of ending the team. In the midst we get the Sokovian twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Around near-ending we get the android Vision. This adds a big roster! By the end we have War Machine and Falcon training there too. In Ant-Man we've got safeguarding great tech, with the Wasp coming soon too! So exciting.

Now we've got the real theories. Have the synopsis of Cap 3:

After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Captain America and the Avengers' handling of an international incident results in collateral damage, politicians look to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the Avengers, which results in the fracturing of the team while they attempt to protect the world from a new enemy.

Let that sink in.

We know the villains in the movie will be Baron Zemo and Crossbones, whom we've already seen. Brock Rumlow, the evil HYDRA agent who duked it out with Sam Wilson on the falling Triskelion, will be playing Crossbones. I'm not going to delve into that too much. There's a lot to be excited about. Spider-Man and Black Panther will be joining the roster. Potentially, after Ant-Man, both Wasp and Ant-Man will be joining too. Not to mention all the Avengers already there. We've also got Winter Soldier, possibly Maria Hill and Nick Fury too. No Hulk. No giant brute. However, in the comics General Thunderbolt Ross became the Red Hulk, and guess who's in the movie? General Thunderbolt Ross. He's playing a "different" Ross, but this might a bit too much to hope for. I've broken down one of my favorite theories to make it simpler for those not too much into the MCU.

It starts off with the post-credits scene in Ant-Man. Rogers and Wilson have found Bucky refuse to ask Stark for help. Wilson says he "knows a guy", Ant-Man and Wasp join the fray but Cap and Wilson are called away to deal with the "international event." Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne (Ant-Man and Wasp) decide to help, and Bucky escapes. After a lot issues, the Superhuman Registration Act is called upon and Stark decides to enforce it. After the events in Age of Ultron, he can't trust his own tech and calls upon Ross to help enforce the laws. He finds Spidey and decides to make him some armor, while Bucky is being pursued by Black Panther. Stuff happens and Ross goes Red Hulk, not knowing it's powers Stark dons Veronica (Hulkbuster) again and puts an end to his rampage.

I can't quite say where Crossbones and Zemo come in. Stay in tune to hear more great theories! Please leave good criticism. Bad comments are bad for my health.
