5. The Amazing Spider-Man composed by James Horner

When first watching ASM, I was expecting to hear a theme song that would be as good as Danny Elfman's. The theme song did not live up to the original trilogy, but it did do something different. It felt like you were part of Spider-Man's world, and he was inviting you into it. That's what I love so much about the score of this film, it's not so much about impressing the listener, but it's about feeling like your part of Spider-Man's world and you can relate to him.

4. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban composed by John Williams

This film score left me speechless. The pages sprung to life and burst onto film. I was apart of Harry's world, every little detail that you could see in the film was part of this score. You can also sense that it represents growth and a darker time in Harry's life.

3. The Matrix composed by Don Davis

This soundtrack blew my mind. I could see the movie as I listened to it. Every single action, every single detail. It was almost perfect.

2.Star Wars composed by John Williams

Talk about a score that has lasted for decades. Everyone is familiar with the Star Wars soundtrack, and every time I hear it I go all fanboy. John Willaims soundtrack is perfect and will last forever.

1.Doctor Who composed by Murray Gold

Doctor Who didn't really have a big, emotional and moving score until the revival in 2005. The music of the show definitely fits with the emotion, and here and there will be guest stars with some pretty nifty music careers. It seems like each Doctor now has their own theme that fits their personality. But, the music in the show is just brilliant. I couldn't imagine an episode without it.
