I love film!!! Action, comedy, thrillers... Film is just the best

So I’ve finally watched one of the most talked about films this month. The one and only ‘In Time’. I’d heard mixed reviews previously and the general consensus was that 'it’s alright’. I didn’t let that put me off though; I’ve always been one to make up my own verdicts when it comes to films. And I’m here to say the film was flipping awesome! It didn’t blow my mind like inception did, but nonetheless in time deserves a 9/10 for making the audience realise the essence of time and how important it is. The concept is fantastic so props to whoever had the idea for this movie. The film is essentially about time with a touch of Robin Hood and Bonnie and Clyde. But instead of stealing money, time was stolen to give to people who didn’t have enough. Everything is paid in time and if you run out of time you die. The rich (people with loads of time) thought it was ok to live forever seeing as they had the time to do so, but in reality nothing lasts forever, and at some point we all will die. The acting in the film was fantastic. Each actor brought their character to life and played the part well. In the film you see people with decades to live, and then you see people with months, some even days. The amount of time each person has left is engraved into their arm in a green light system, and as time passes of course their time reduces. I believe the main message from this film is that time is precious, and for these immortals they can look at their arm and see exactly how much time they have and how long they have to live. Whereas we don’t. All we know is that there are 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, and 60 seconds in a minute. We don’t know if we’ll live to see tomorrow let alone 100… Imagine if we did have the time on our arms, I don’t think we’d waste another second complaining or doing nothing knowing that the time we had was limited. In the film the people with loads of time were rich and the people with little time were poor. Let’s apply to real life and realise that we all have the same amount of time each today to do as we wish. If u choose to lie in bed all day doing nothing that’s your business, but just remember you had the same amount of time in the day that your neighbour had. So let’s make the most of the time we have doing positive things and making a difference. Because when time is gone, you can’t get it back… Also remember time is money. And as the film highlighted 'time is power’.

I hope you enjoyed my review, now go and watch in time on time! :)
