We already know quite about what will happen in the future with the MCU. Spider-Man will be introduced in Civil War, Captain America will most likely die not long after the Civil War, along with Thor and Loki in [Thor: Ragnarok](tag:956858) (maybe), and we will have the entire MCU team up for [The Avengers: Infinity War](tag:738027). But I'm here to talk about what we don't know.
First, what happened to Hulk? At the end of Age of Ultron he was seen blasting off into the unknown. The first thing I want to know is, where the heck is he? I hope we find out soon because when Spidey is introduced I want to see an all out brawl between the two.
Second, how will they incorporate Spider-Man? We know he is going to be Peter Parker, and that his costume will be "awesome", but that's about it. I'm pretty sure every comic nerd on the planet (myself included) is excited to see what Feige and his team will do with the character after the less than amazing Amazing Spider-Man 2. This could quite possibly be the most important character in the MCU, mainly because he is one of the most recognizable figures in pop culture history, and I'm going to be angry if his first film finds him fighting the Green Goblin. I want to see him fight Vulture, or maybe a better Venom than the one seen in Spider-Man 3. That being said, I won't be surprised if he fights Rhino again because i felt that they got him half right in TASM2, it was an amazing idea to have him as a Russian gangster but i personally didn't like the robotic rhino suit. So Marvel, don't screw it up.
Third, I am curious about how they will handle Infinity War, some people are complaining about how they won't have enough characters but I think that is a flaming pile of crap. They will have all of the key players and more. I am more interested about how they they will handle the amount of characters in the movie. People complain about how TASM2 and Spider-Man 3 had too many characters, which made it hard to balance the film. But in those cases, the movie had too may villains, but in this movie, I'm worried that there will be too many heroes. Also, don't expect some of your favorite characters to survive both films. I'm guessing that we will lose three or more of our favorite heroes during the final fight.
Finally, and most importantly, how will they do Civil War? With pretty much everybody and their mom's secret identity revealed at the end of The Winter Soldier, how will they change the plot from the comics. In the comics, for those who don't know, the story is about the superhero community being split down the middle because of the Superhero Registration Act, a law that requires that all superheroes register their identities and work for the government. The story focuses on the clash between Iron Man and Captain America, and shows huge fights between two teams with hundreds of superheroes each. Civil War will kick off Phase 3 with a plot changing from the comics and the assassination of a major character, but I can almost guarantee that with the Russo brothers' guidance, it will work.
