Marvel is notorious for holding their cards extremely close to the chest, but that doesn't stop inquisitive minds from trying to get details on what the studio powerhouse has up next.

Most of the time, these actors and filmmakers have way too much media training to let something slip, but that doesn't stop hopeful reporters from trying! The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe cast member to be put in the hot seat was Cobie Smulders, the tough and practical Maria Hill.

In an interview with the Daily Beast on her well-received indie comedy Unexpected, Smulders addressed some key MCU questions but sadly never got flustered. Here's how she responded when asked if Maria Hill would be appearing in [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) or the Avengers' Infinity War films:

That’s really sweet that you asked me, but I can’t talk about that. I’ll get in trouble!

It should come as no surprise that playing the expertly trained former Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. knows how to duck a question, but I love how gracious and humble she is with her answer! She seems as down-to-earth as she is gorgeous and talented.

She elaborated a bit more about her experience being part of such a cultural phenomenon when asked about a sense of job security starring in such a long-running franchise:

It’s very secretive. They like to keep the surprises for the audience so they don’t reveal a lot of information—even to the inner circle. But it is nice! It’s very cool to be a part of the world, and a part of this ongoing story that’s happening. Normally, you walk into a movie, have a script, and then you’re done with it, or at the most you’ll do a sequel—maybe. But with the Marvel world, they’re doing television, they have merchandise like crazy, and Lego video games. It’s cool to be a part of all of it.

Though she didn't confirm it here, I'd be willing to wager that Maria Hill will make an appearance in Civil War, and I can't wait to see what the MCU has in store for her. More crossovers, please!
