How's this for an idea for an incredible horror movie: a woman kills in self-defense and unknowingly takes down a serial killer.
Pretty neat idea for a thriller, and one that could rightfully use the much-touted 'based on real-life events' tagline... because that just happened.
KPTV reports that a woman in West Virginia was forced to grab a gun from her assailant, Neal Falls, after he attempted to strangle her.
Clearly, this sadistic man was already a menace to society, but what police uncovered in his trunk was even more terrifying...
In addition to the handcuffs and pistol found on Neal Falls' person, Charleston PD opened Falls' trunk and found:
"a 'kill list,' trash bags, sledgehammers, several axes, a shovel, bleach, knives, a machete and other items in his vehicle."
Police are now looking into the possibility that Falls may be linked to the unexplained deaths and disappearances of six local women. Falls' case bears an uncanny resemblance to the modus operandi of notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, who brought a 'kidnap kit' to the site of his numerous abductions. Bundy's case was filmed as 2002's Ted Bundy (see trailer below).
