Fall cannot come soon enough for many of us so that we can pick up where we left off with some of our favorite TV series, and also get the opportunity to follow up some new fresh comic book characters making the step on TV.

Here is a brief rundown of new comic book characters coming this fall on TV:

Arrow's big bad villain this season will be Damien Darhk and the evil HIVE organization. Arrow had hinted this outcome from season 2 with Deadshot revealing that HIVE hired him to assassinate Diggle's brother. Ra’s al Ghul during the last season revealed that Darhk was a former member member of the league of the Assassins and actually has been responsible for many of the attacks we have seen on the show.

Two other classic DC villains will fight Oliver and his team this fall. Alexander Calvert will appear as the 90s Batman villain Anarky, while British actor Jimmy Akingbola will play a re imagined version of Baron Blitzkrieg.

Gotham will provide us with plenty of new characters this season beginning with Tigress played by Jessica Lucas. Tigress will join the show as an enforcer for the new crime boss looking to usurp Penguin’s reign as head of the underworld.

Another character joining the show is actually one of Bruce Wayne's long time love interest. Silver St.Cloud will be played by Natalie Alyn Lind. Wrapping Gotham up the producers have confirmed that we will be seeing classic characters such as Hugo Strange, Mister Freeze, Azrael, and the Calendar Man.

It is not yet known how these characters will be presented but they will appear on the shoe in some form.

The Flash

One of my personally most anticipated series is coming back this Fall! In the new season we will see major supporting characters appearing. Firstly we have Golden Age Flash Jay Carrick, Garrick was the first hero to use the Flash title and hails from the alternate universe Earth 2. Teddy Sears will play this iconic character.

Next up we have Patty Spivot a longtime ally and love interest of the Flash, TV will tweak this character and instead of her being a blood analyst working alongside Barry this character will be shown as Joe West's new partner and the replacement for the deceased Eddie Thawne. Shantel VanSanten will play Spivot next season.

On the other side of the law new villains will join Captain Cold fighting the flash. Zoom, a speedster even faster than the Flash or the Reverse Flash, will be the major villain of Season 2. Other villains include Atom Smasher a size changing character from the comics as well as Double Down a villain capable of changing his skin into razor sharp tattoos.

It is very likely that we will see more additions to The Flash’s cast in the months ahead.

Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter

There is currently very little know about the new season of Agent of SHIELD and Agent Carter however we do know The Inhuman Lash will square off against SHIELD and Skye/Daisy Johnson’s team of Secret Warriors while searching for Inhumans to join their forces. Meanwhile Agent Carter will face the Secret Empire, the Secret Empire was a splinter group of Hydra who infiltrated the United States government and tried to discredit Captain America.

Legends of Tomorrow

(The CW)
(The CW)

Legends of Tomorrow is still plenty of months away buy boy im I excited for this! This massive collaboration will bring us characters like Rip Hunter (played by Arthur Darvill), Hawkgirl (played by Ciara Renee) will join Firestorm, the Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold and Heat Wave to fight the immortal Vandal Savage. Renee will play the Golden Age version of Hawkgirl who is a reincarnated Egyptian princess with the ability to fly thanks to an Nth metal belt and wings.

Vandal Savage is an immortal foe commanding the most dangerous army the world has ever seen. He has immerse strength and a brutal personality which will test our heroes to their limits.

Producers for Legends of Tomorrow also teased Hawkman’s appearance on the show.

Supergirl will bring us an entire cast of classic comic book characters for the first time on TV. Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin who arrived on Earth in her late teens will be played by Melissa Benoist. Joining Benoist on the show is Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, an older version of Superman’s pal Jimmy Olsen, and Calista Flockhart as Clark Kent’s former co-worker Cat Grant.

Other characters which are set to be shown in the series include classic Superman villains the Toyman, Cyborg Superman, Livewire, Reactron and Maxwell Lord. Lucy Lane, the villainous sister of Lois Lane, will also appear on the show sometime during the first season.

Now this is one TV series i am still not sure what to make of but i will certainly give it a chance. Fox’s Lucifer is a loose adaptation of the Vertigo series of the same name, which originally spun out of the popular Sandman series.

Tom Ellis is set to play the lead character, as ruler of Hell he decides to move to LA and run a nightclub after becoming bored of ruling Hell. Other comic characters cast in the show is Maze, a demon confidante and ally to Lucifer, and Amenadiel, an angel who opposes Lucifer with deadly resolve.

Are you guys excited for the above series? Which characters are you looking forward to seeing on TV?
